from what I have been able to find from the bill (2028, not 2020) is that you are not required (as a MA resident) to accept the vaccine. But the following applies:

An individual who is unable or unwilling to submit to vaccination or treatment shall not be required to submit to such procedures but may be isolated or quarantined. underline mine

now, elsewhere it says that anyone refusing to submit to quarantine will be fined. It is a fine hair-splitting, but you do not have to take the vaccine but you will likely be quarantined because of your refusal. If you refuse the Quarantine, THEN the fines kick in.

"(e) Any person who knowingly violates an order for isolation or quarantine shall be punished by imprisonment for not more than 30 days and may be subject to a civil fine of not more than one thousand dollars per day that the violation continues."

The jail time is NOT for refusing to take the shot. And the fines are "up to" and "may include" but not necessarily both jail and fines apply.

I can accept quarantine, it is the right thing to do, to NOT want to infect others. However, it is not right to force me to accept untested drugs in my body. The 4th Amendment provides protection from the government.

It depends on the kind of quarantine. I don't want to be hauled off to camp, but a house arrest suits me fine. Mainly I don't want the vaccine, that is my first priority.

The senators were told to vote for this.......otherwise they would be vaccinated at the end of session (How else to get a 100% vote???)

Sounds plausable. I remember many years ago a guy was working on a virus that would piggy back on another virus and render bunnies infertile.

So once infected they would get a cold: sore throat, running nose and cough, and be be sick for about a week and then everything would be fine except that they would be sterlized.

The idea was cutting edge about 20 years ago, but I'm sure they have refined things - and doubtless made it applicable to people as well as bunnies.
