Image technology is an exact science. "Getting to the details" involves KNOWING HOW photos get smeared, lit and colored.

In this NASA photo, having NO faults in SKEW OR SCALE (due to roll, pitch or yaw), NASA MISSED the human forms in the picture. WHY? Because not knowing that Diffraction of Light is constant throughout the Universe, their technicians did not know how to apply hues to give depth perception to this photo. They ASSUME/PRESUME there is nobody there. Duh.
In these next three photos, faults in roll, pitch and yaw created skew and scale problems that NASA never addressed. They prefer to simply and categorically insist, there is no human life anywhere but here. Wrong!

Astronomers and NASA scientists don't even know the composition of bodies out there because they never really look at the pictures they take! Callisto is transparent as a child's marble, and our Moon is an artificial satellite, one sphere built around another to capture atmosphere and provide a camouflage covering of cratered desolation. Full of people--NASA BOMBS THE MOON just to see what they don't already know, it's made of. Criminal.

What the heck does this mean? Image technology, if it refers to anything, refers to pixel information. That can be quantified exactly, and less exactly, the history of those pixels can be understood if you understand the various processing steps that can be taken.
But photo analysis is an entirely different subject. It requires, among other things, projective geometry. There is nothing in the pixel data that will reconstruct the 3d geometry of the original scene for you; you have to do it, using established and recognized geometric tools.

Incidentally, many if not most of the pictures you are tinkering with did not come from NASA, per se. At least one that I recognize comes from an amateur civilian telescope owner with a name and address. Are you accusing him of being secretly part of NASA?

Astronomers, unlike you, do not base their understanding of the universe on naive impressions of what things "look like" -- especially not on uncalibrated visual-light images that have been reduced and compressed for Internet transmission, an absolutely not on random application of PhotoShop filters to the latter in hopes of finding patterns they can misinterpret.
The tools -- mathematical and observational -- are more varied, and more subtle, and most certainly more accurate than that.

But the fact is, I have BEAT NASA at their own game.
They do not correct their satellite-photo copies for pitch, roll or yaw of the satellite-in-motion. Their photos are FULL OF SKEW and scale irregularities.
For God's sake, they use a SQUARE 1024X1024 CAMERA and then all their prints come out all different sizes (824x1024, 700x1024, 500x1024, 1024x512)! Is that dumb or what?
They do not understand that light diffraction is the same universally; so if you have light, you can impute correct hues. There is no such thing as BLUE SAND and PURPLE tire tracks (as Rover photos allege). There is NO ORANGE SKY at high noon.
They do not understand that you see WHAT YOU EXPECT; and due to the DOGMA OF NO LIFE ANYWHERE BUT HERE, there is no astronomer and no photo tech looking for life on any photo.
They don't see anything because they've BEEN TAUGHT, over and over and over, not to see anything resembling ordinary life.
They have ruined NASA's reputation as a scientific organization by being less than professional in the way they process and handle the photos they get downloaded.
And I'm not taking any crap from you because I've done the work and I've sent NASA the reports on my work, as any professional critic must.
So, let's see what they say about it now.
