Have you ever learned of something called A LEARNING CURVE?
It has taken me all of eighteen months to figure out WHY NASA doesn't know what is in their own photos.
NOW I can begin to explain it; but until recently, I could get to more detail, but I couldn't put my finger on why NASA wasn't doing it.
You have to think in the mindset of a satellite. A satellite is a propelled aircraft; and it experiences PITCH, ROLL AND YAW -- movements in three directions.
Well, there are so many SKEW FAULTS and SCALE FAULTS in NASA photos because they NEVER correct for pitch, roll and yaw. They take photos AT FACE VALUE, and they never seem to look at what might be in them.
Okay on the topic of COLORS. NASA's habit is to simply PAINT colors ON. Duh. Instead of operating from an engineer's engineering that diffraction of light is a constant wherever the light hits, you can gauge what color it WAS by utilizing proportional hues and an approximation of depth of field. But NASA never gets that far.
I still don't know to put this into their language; but when it comes to the processing of photos which are taken on the fly--they don't know what they are doing.
Their photo prints are smeared, wrongly scaled, wrongly colored, wrongly lit; and the outcome is you cain't see NUTHIN' worth seeing!
And that's how it is.

The universe is not flat. When a NASA spacecraft passes a spherical body, it can have any orientation to the surface.
What arbitrary orientation would you have them uphold? Tangential to the plane of Earth's orbit? To the plane of Earth's equator? To the plane of the orbit of the planet in question? Do you really think that all people on Earth line themselves up so that their heads are closer to the North Pole?

Astronomic pictures are taken through filters at specific, narrow, wavelengths. Therefor the data set will never completely map across the same color space as a simple commercial three-detector CCD.
In many cases, the filters do not come close to approximating something like an R, G, B; they may be three different line of hydrogen excitation, or a range of X-ray or UV energies completely outside human vision.
It isn't color photography. It is DATA. The data can be, and often is, mapped across an arbitrary spectrum in order to make the data easier for human eyes to pick out patterns.

This is word salad. Depth of field has a meaning, diffraction has a meaning, hue has a meaning. As used here there is no underlying meaning.
In one narrow way you are right; because of carefully selected color filters on the CCDs, astronomical images are known quite exactly as to the frequency of light captured.
But this has no point in common with human color perception.

NASA's big lie is that we're the only ones who exist.
They make a business and an industry out of that one Big Lie.
If you want to stand for profiteering on fables, that's your business.
I am not standing for it.
The Moon is not 2000 miles in diameter; it is not 238,000 miles away. Copernicus Crater is not 92 kilometers in diameter. There are NO towers a mile tall there.
I don't know what NASA employees do with their time; however, what I notice is they don't answer their phones, they don't respond to emails, post office mails. They do not confront criticism of their system; there is no accountability for the "products" of their time and efforts.
Their supposed trip to the Moon has turned out to be a pipe-dream scripted and staged by Kubrick and Disney.
Their next goal is to bomb the Moon with a 2200 pound bomb just to see if there's water there.
What idiocy! And to have about 25,000 human wage-earners involved in all this crap is simply too strange to even countenance.
You do what you want.
I'm disgusted.

It's your choice of course, but perhaps you should consider what information-less, hit-and-run posting makes you look like...
what? well the guy in the vid, Robert Dean, had some real high Top Secret clearance, was in the military and learned that NASA had been tampering with all kinds of evidence, deleted 40 rolls of film from the Apollo 11 mission, pics of the moon had been changed, etc etc. If you have any kind of human emotion at all you will watch the vid and FEEL his honesty, this guy pours his heart all over the floor, wants us to know the truth so bad and is so pissed we have been lied to for 50+ years. I'm not a hit and run poster, I got my dukes up boi, let's go :) |
