Health insurance ranks 86th in profit margin among all industries at 3.3%. You'd eat that up just in hiring bureaucrats. [link to 1.bp.blogspot.com] Cash for Clunkers is a massive failure. Most of the people who bought cars would have done it anyway, just without the $4500 gift from the taxpayers and now the auto industry will grind to a halt. While he hasn't collectivized all private industry, he's already gotten the major banks, car industry, and has his eye on the insurance and health care industries. It's a good start. Martial law, firearm confiscation, and education camps are all red herrings. Nobody is pissed at him for any of these things...yet. We don't need Glenn Beck to tell us what to think, and race has nothing to do with it. We were against TARP when Bush pushed it. We were against Obamacare in 1994 when it was called Hillarycare.
