do you understand songwriting.. ?

do you understand the technical advancements made in the studio because of the Beatles desires to break the molds in music recordings ?


if you answer no to such questions, then it is understandable why you would think the Beatles sucked...because you dont have a clue about such things.

going off a different tangent, underrated singer, group, band would be johnny cash. the funny shit is before i never really cared for that kind of music, so that gives more kudos .

with that said...I always though Lennon was a bit of a hypocritical ass . But he was the intial driving force behind the Beatles bandmembers.

Luckily, it didnt take mcartney to long to catch up or surpass Lennons power within the Beatles, and b the year 1965-66, I feel Mcartney was the better songwriter in the band,.

In fact, Mcartney was the best muscian in the band...he could play many instruments very well...from drums, to piano, to guitar, to bass...

lennon was mainly a rhythm guitarist..who could tinker around on piano or bass, but wasnt very fluent on thiose instruments like Mcartney was.

yes, it was a hit song..and IMHO, a very slow, boring and commercial styled song. The piano playing Lennon does is very subpar and unexciting in my view...

ironically, the song has some simliarities to Mcartneys song Let IT bE...WHICH IS A SONG LENNON despsied and ridiculed ..

Well, I thought we were talking about them being overrated; I didn't realise we were talking about album sales. OK...just because they sell alot doesn't mean they are good, it just means they were marketed well to the masses. Because you were taken in by this, you are one of the sheep. I don't need to insult people or use bad language, my teenaged friend. There are countless artists who have proven that you don't have to be good to sell records.
