The Christian Community Needs to Stand Against the False Teaching of IslamChristians must be aware of how some Muslims are deceiving us.
Enlarge Image Muslims have great misconceptions about our faith. The Muslim leaders talk to their followers about what they think we believe and create a bad image of Christianity, amongst Muslims. They also speak with Christians who are weak in faith, and question them about the bible and the Muslim view of Christianity. They do this to weaken their faith even more and get them to look into Islam. I feel we need to counter act this by being proactive, teaching them about what Muslims are trying to do, and why, because of what they believe.
As we learn from the bible how to live our daily life, to love and respect all people, to reach out and spread the word of God through the teachings and actions of Jesus Christ. It also teaches us about how we should treat people that come to us with false word .Those that live among us, near us, and in some cases they live in different countries.
In the second letter of John lines 10 and 11 John says:
If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not receive him into your house and do not give him any greeting,32 1:11 because the person who gives him a greeting shares in his evil deeds.33
In Paul's letter to Titus Chapter 2 lines 6-16 Paul says:
An elder must be blameless,6 the husband of one wife,7 with faithful children8 who cannot be charged with dissipation or rebellion. 1:7 For the overseer9 must be blameless as one entrusted with God’s work,10 not arrogant, not prone to anger, not a drunkard, not violent, not greedy for gain. 1:8 Instead he must be hospitable, devoted to what is good, sensible, upright, devout, and self-controlled. 1:9 He must hold firmly to the faithful message as it has been taught,11 so that he will be able to give exhortation in such healthy teaching12 and correct those who speak against it.
1:10 For there are many13 rebellious people, idle talkers, and deceivers, especially those with Jewish connections,14 1:11 who must be silenced because they mislead whole families by teaching for dishonest gain what ought not to be taught. 1:12 A certain one of them, in fact, one of their own prophets, said, "Cretans are always liars, evil beasts, lazy gluttons."15 1:13 Such testimony is true. For this reason rebuke them sharply that they may be healthy in the faith 1:14 and not pay attention to Jewish myths16 and commands of people who reject the truth. 1:15 All is pure to those who are pure. But to those who are corrupt and unbelieving, nothing is pure, but both their minds and consciences are corrupted. 1:16 They profess to know God but with their deeds they deny him, since they are detestable, disobedient, and unfit for any good deed.
As you know the church does what it can to help them all, where ever they are, to learn about the true God. Priests travel around the world to serve the lord and spread the word. This job shouldn’t just be for the church leaders to do, because, our bible is not just for the church leaders, It is the job for all Christians to do. As the bible is, for all of us.
I know that we all work, that we have a life, bills, and children to worry about, but a very important point for us to grasp is, by just knowing Jesus’ message is not enough we must all do his actions and spread his word, so that we protect and guide his people, enlighten those who don’t know, so that we all will find ourselves with him in heaven.
It is our responsibility as the bible said to talk to those people that try to change and contradict God’s will and teaching.
It is our responsibility to stand against these people that live among us and talk to our children and say to them that Jesus is just a prophet and he is not the lord it is our responsibility to stand and move toward talking to these people that build their mosques near our schools and colleges in order to have a way to access our young men and women and spread their beliefs ( hateful beliefs ) among our children.
It is our responsibility to teach all, but especially our youth and those in hardship, that the true faith is found in our bible through Jesus Christ. So that where ever they may be in life, or whatever hardships they fall upon they will still be strong enough to keep their faith, know Jesus is always with them, and be able to recognize and refute falsehood when faced with it.
We cannot think in the mindset that our culture, government, or education system will effect or change their way of thinking. In just the state of New Jersey alone there are over 110 Islamic schools to teach them the way they should live according to the teaching of their religion.
The facts is a lot of people around the world are converting to Christianity in numbers around 15,000,000 a year are in Africa alone. Still we have to stand against those groups that are also growing in the millions, damaging our works by using lies and deception from their books. All the while acting warm, and welcoming, inviting people to join them. Never telling them that if they decide its not for them and they try and leave the belief they will be killed. As was the recent case with the guy from Afghanistan who converted to be Christian, and the Vatican got him an asylum to Italy or else he would have been killed according to Islamic law.
In the way it is important to bring our children to church and teach them the faith, it is also highly imperative to tell them what others will try and say against it, so that they will recognize falsehood and be fully prepared to be able to answer them with the true word of God. Just as we teach them to be careful from strangers and the tricks they try and play. I feel the church should address this issue and show the truth, in the same way we are doing with the Da Vinci Code, only I think this is a bigger issue. We are afraid this movie and book "might" effect people, Islam already is.
We as believers in the Lord Jesus Christ have to talk to those who are not believers and spread the word of God to them, and if they don’t take it, we must at least prepare our children and adults to understand what the truth is about their beliefs are before they start telling all the lies about it let me give you an example :
If some one killed a person and told you that God’s words in the bible said to kill !!! what would you think of that ??
For sure you know the truth , you know that God said you shall not kill, the fact is that Jesus said love your enemy
But as you watch the news every day we hear about these people killing in the name of God and you see them reading from their holy book while they are cutting somebody’s head. In the mean time their leaders come and say that their book doesn’t support that kind of crime and these radicals misunderstand our book ??
The question here is how did they understand it? Does their book say not to kill? and they read it kill? or their book says kill them all as I quote
(Fight against those who believe not in Allâh, nor in the Last Day, nor forbid that which has been forbidden by Allâh and His Messenger (Muhammad (peace be upon him)) and those who acknowledge not the religion of truth (i.e. Islâm) among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians), until they pay the Jizyah with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.
According to this translation that is quoted from their book the words change from the original languge from kill to fight against
Those are the people that their book says quote(And because of their saying (in boast), "We killed Messiah 'Isâ (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary), the Messenger of Allâh," - but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but the resemblance of 'Isâ (Jesus) was put over another man (and they killed that man), and those who differ therein are full of doubts. They have no (certain) knowledge, they follow nothing but conjecture. For surely; they killed him not (i.e. 'Isâ (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary) (peace be upon them))
And the Jews say: 'Uzair (Ezra) is the son of Allâh, and the Christians say: Messiah is the son of Allâh. That is their saying with their mouths, resembling the saying of those who disbelieved aforetime. Allâh's Curse be on them, how they are deluded away from the truth!
O ye who believe! take not the Jews and the Christians for your friends and protectors; they are but friends and protectors to each other. And he amongst you that turns to them (for friendship) is of them. Verily Allah guideth not a people unjust.
So, when you meet (in fight - Jihâd in Allâh's Cause), those who disbelieve, smite (their) necks till when you have killed and wounded many of them, then bind a bond firmly (on them, i.e. take them as captives). Thereafter (is the time) either for generosity (i.e. free them without ransom), or ransom (according to what benefits Islâm), until the war lays down its burden. Thus (you are ordered by Allâh to continue in carrying out Jihâd against the disbelievers till they embrace Islâm and are saved from the punishment in the Hell-fire or at least come under your protection), but if it had been Allâh's Will, He Himself could certainly have punished them (without you). But (He lets you fight), in order to test some of you with others. But those who are killed in the Way of Allâh, He will never let their deeds be lost.
This is some verses from their book and there are thousands more that encourage the believer of that book to lie and beat women and kill every non believer of their religion until all the world become believers for their religion. There is also much more in the Sunnah (what Mohammed had said to the people) and the Hadith which are the recordings of what had happened during his time by the people closest to him.
Mohammed himself had no respect for women. When Mohammed was 54 he married a girl six years old and waited till she turned 9 before he consummated the marriage. This all comes from their books and they are supposed to live their lives as he lived his, is this not child molestation?
Here is 1 verse of Qu'ran on how to treat women according to Gods word:
Chap.4 verse Men are the protectors and maintainers of women, because Allah has given the one more (strength) than the other, and because they support them from their means. Therefore the righteous women are devoutly obedient, and guard in (the husband's) absence what Allah would have them guard. As to those women on whose part ye fear disloyalty and ill-conduct, admonish them (first), (next), refuse to share their beds, (and last) beat them ; but if they return to obedience, seek not against them means (of annoyance): for Allah is Most High, Great (above you all).
I know many of you are thinking this cannot be right, you have had many Muslim friends that were very nice. This because not all Muslims know the real message of Islam. It was not until 9/11 that many eyes were opened. We see all these Muslims saying Islam is peaceful and loving, and yes there are verses that are peaceful, but they are few and far between and are meant for treatment from one Muslim to another. While all these terrorists are saying what they are doing is for the love of Islam. Maybe the terrorists are not extremists or radicals, but full practitioners of their faith. So I suggest do the research and see for yourself.
So it is up to us with the help of God to change those people and teach them the right way or at least teach ourselves more about there belief so neither we or our youth get fooled by their sweet talk about their belief in Jesus and their belief in one God and remember that God with the Holy Spirit works through us to teach others and do his will.
I hope the day comes that we start to learn about the bad things so we prevent the damage before it happens, not wait for the damage to happen then sit and wonder where were we when all this was happening.
May God help us, guide us and protect us, and Bless all. Amen
