Missing girl found after 18 years!

(CNN) -- A 29-year old woman walked into a northern California police station, saying she was abducted 18 years ago, authorities said Thursday. Two people are being held in connection with the case.

Jaycee Dugard is in good health, el Dorado County sheriff's office said in a statement, but provided no further details.

Meanwhile, in Contra Costa County, another sheriff's spokesman confirmed that that a man and a woman have been arrested in connection with the case but could provide no other details.

CNN affiliates have reported that Phillip Garrido, 58, and his wife, Nancy Garrido, have been charged.

Phillip Garrido is a registered sex offender and listed on the Department of Justice's Megan's Law page because of a previous forcible rape charge.

She had to give birth to children as a result of RAPE! And the wife participated! What kind of sick world IS this shit!

The death penalty is too kind for these sick assholes;

"A convicted sex offender and his wife have been arrested in the 1991 kidnapping of an 11-year-old girl — who, authorities tell FOX 40 News, had been kept as a sex slave, FOX 40 News reported.

The unnamed authorities also told the TV station that the victim, Jaycee Lee Dugard, bore several children for the sex offender, Phillip Garrido, 58, and they said Garrido and his wife, Nancy, 54, held Dugard in a shed or other structure in the backyard."

No kidding, I'm just sickened by what this poor young woman must have gone through. The kind of damage that no one can ever repair... death penalty for these sick freaks would be too kind.

How do people get to the the point where they do horrific things and feel no remorse, those are the ones that are beyond rehabilitation and should be executed.

exactly......never seen or heard from again. Did these people have any intention of ever LETTING her go? How could they have? She must have known this, and took her chances to escape. My heart weeps for her, her family, and the children that were brought into this fucked up world as a result.

Even if its only one its still one to many. this is incredibly sad. I hope that woman can find happiness in her still young life.

I once visited a survivors convention. A lady spoke of bearing more babies than she could remember beginning around 11-12 for 15-18 years. A MPD survivor and doctors collaborated her history through physical examinations. It took an act of God for her to escape her controllers and keep them at bay. She has to live in hiding the rest of her life because it is unheard of to escape alive. This was in the '90s before much was on the Internet and now after so many years, all the horrors she testified of have proven to be 100% true.

This missing girl that was found did the absolute best thing -- GO PUBLIC -- That protects her because if something would happen to her now, the authorities would know right where to go.

So sad. Why is there so much of this nowadays? That poor girl lost out on her childhood and her teen/young adult years.

While peers were out having fun she was locked in some shed. It must be difficult to recover from something like this.

Remember the woman whose father locked her in the basement and she bore a bunch of his children. I think that one was just not too long ago also.

These sick pedos don't deserve to even live to make another human being suffer so just to get their jolly's off!

I remember my gramps telling me about when he was a boy about the vigilantes of the neighborhood. These type of people would just disappear and not even be reported to police.

Percentage wise I bet there was a lot less of it going on in those days because the vigilantes got their point across. Only bad thing is there probably some innocents that got accused of it but hadn't.

What you guys always seem to mess is the fact that the people who did this didn't have good parents. It's a cycle that loops.

So feel sorry for them also.

Forgive them all.

Then yeah.. shoot em.

She probably has no education either beyond what she had at 11 when she was kidnapped. What a loss for her, If those kidnappers own that house and any other assets, she should get all of it, the court should award every cent they own to this girl.

Don't just shoot them. TORTURE THEM FIRST.

She has 2 girls. 11 and 15.

I am still wondering how she got away but guess details will start coming out soon.

When they go to prison that will happen.

Hopefully she will since those kids are his and he has to pay support now. So the house and property should go to her. Also the rights to movies and books. She will be fine financially and hopefully be able to heal emotionally. At least she and her kids have their lives back.

Where are these children? I can only imagine what their lives have been like... poor things.
