A 3 dimensional Mobius strip. [ link to www.maa.org] No matter what direction you go, if you go far enough you will return to your starting point. No need for "space".  hmm. so your saying that the earth is that shape? A mobius strip is usualy 2d, thus the novelty of never meeting an edge. This 3d representation is just nice looking art. In 3d it becomes a useless concept since a SPHERE has the same effect. however travelling upwards or off the surface of the earth would be the same as travelling off the 3d mobius strip. So really you have given no solution at all to what you encounter when you travel straight up. try harder punisher.
