They all successfully make a mockery of themselves with meaningless gyrations, genuflections, bowing, scraping, kneeling and mumbling. You have to see some of the nonsense people do, to believe it. From prostrating themselves, kneeling, waving their hands about and touching themselves, to speaking words to dead animal carcasses in hopes of making it more edible. Some of the stuff is so crazy that one is left to wonder at their sanity. Did you know that some people believe that inhumane methods of animal slaughter coupled with mumbling words over the dying beast make it more edible. Or that putting different types of food on different plates improves their relationship with their Creator. Some people practice cutting off their body parts to make themselves more acceptable to their Creator, as if It had made them imperfect or unacceptable. They make a mockery of themselves by insisting that some of their members not be able to exercise free will over the way they dress. I hardly think Eve has made a mockery when affectionados of religion do so much a better job of it all by themselves.
