Jesus was an asshole

I don't think Jesus said anything that the Bible says he said.

Paul's letters physically predate the gospels by a lifetime. Paul never mentions Jesus virgin birth or his teachings or his life, really.

He just capitalizes on the Jews desperate need to find a silver lining, a reason why God didn't give the Jews victory in their little faith based uprising that Jesus was a leader of.

They crucified Jesus for being a rebel leader. The apostles didn't want him to be a messiah for all people, they wanted him to be only for the Jews. Form day one no one agreed what the relgion was, and they still don't. The reason for that is because the religion makes no sense and is FALSE.

Jesus was no flower child and no teacher and certainly no wise man, even if you believe he said all the garbage in the New Testament, which he didn't say.

If you're not ready in that hour, BURN. If you don't give a cup of water, BURN. If you don't bear fruit, BURN. If you forget your oil, BURN.

The founder of the Christian Research Institute and an atheist scholar had a debate that I listened to, and they both AGREED that the sayings of Jesus were being said before he lived.

The gospels disagree with each other about what Jesus said on the cross and what happened at the tomb. How can anyone believe the garbage??? The same way the Musilms and the Jews and the Mormons and any other religion believes their garbage. Blindly.

The great mistake almost all spiritual teachers make is to give credence to the Jesus of the Bible, he was a jerk. The golden rule is stupid. How can you possibly guess how someone else wants to be treated based on how you want to be treated???? You can't. You can't possibly make any kind of calculation like that on the fly. Goodness is innate and flows naturally and spiritually without precognition or cognitive learning/training/conditioning.

Commands to love are STUPID. You cannot command someone to love.

How someone wants or needs to be treated is completely unique in every situation and every moment.

Here's the thing, the Bible is such a long book with so many pronouncements, that no matter what you say, almost, there is some Bible verse that will "prove" how great and wise the Bible is.

Conversely, however, there is always a Bible verse that will prove how heinous and stupid the religion is, and how stupid it is to believe it.

It takes integrity to realize/admit that the Christian religion is pure nonsense.

It takes integrity to realize/admit that just because religions are mostly nonsense, it doesn't mean there isn't a God(dess), or many of them, a divine power, omniscince and all that stuff.

There are two main kinds of pompous jerk attitudes, the one that syas "it is written" and the one that says "you can't know, it's just faith." Either attitude leads to stagnation of true spirit and heart.
