I think the Bible Jesus is a completely made up story, 100% false. It's a false messiah, a false ideal, a LIE, and it's sick and it corrupts souls. And I have given a great deal of "thought" to the course of mankind. Thank you very much.

I appreciate the backup, really. But honestly, this is starting to push me to critical mass. EVERYWHERE I go, I'm subjected to this constant need for everyone to conform to everyone else's belief (or lack of belief) systems.

We're individuals. We should ALL be allowed to believe whatever we wish, so long as it does not harm others.

The "Atheist Movement" is possibly the last "equal rights" movement left in this country. I do not want to force my lack of belief on others. No way, no how. However, I don't want to hide any longer.

I spent most my life living a lie of being a Christian when the entire time, I was screaming at God for Him to answer me. I've been in and out of no less than a dozen "factions" of the Christian cult. I then moved on to many other Abrahamic (is that even a word?) religions searching for God.

Not once did he ever answer me. When I'd approach my "religious leaders" looking for SINCERE help with my emotional strife at God constantly ignoring me I'd get half assed answers that somehow made it MY fault!
