| Unit3 User ID: 9834739 11/09/2012 02:56 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | ... Quoting: Unit3 Okay, you're off to a good start. Here's what I suggest. Create your "map" with the 4 elements below. Then, post it here with your ideas and everyone will help. (plus we all learn together as each person brings their perspective.) 4 Steps to create your map: 1-Create symbol: Represent your desired thought, object, or experience physically.* 2-Find possibility: Create or use space for your symbol or the interactions. 3-Interact: Allow the symbol or representation to interact with the various elements of your reaity 5-Structure: For added bonus, develop structure around the interactions. *Creating a new symbol is best. (Not using one that already has its own meanings behind it.) For more information on creating your own map, click here: [link to ecsys.org] Hi Chaol, Unit3 and all, I have a question: If, perhaps, I had more than one thing I was looking to experience (I know, how weird! ;P) would it be better to create multiple symbols? Or to interwine it into one desired experience and one symbol? As in: a) Abundance (A cash amount in my bank account) b) Abundance through career (Or more specifically, a cash amount in my bank account from my employer in the career I love) OR c) Abundance through career and a mate to share it with (Sailing on a yacht bought with money I made in my awesome career with the love of my life). Or, three separate symbol/rules/potential/structure paradigms (for lack of a better word) for each? Also, which is best, the more specific or less? Hope that makes sense? Thanks! And I'm loving all the interaction lately, as well as the reports of the Genius in effect :) Hi there. I love the interaction too so I'm really glad you joined in. I had the same thoughts as you when I started out. It was hard to narrow down to one thing but then I finally realized most of it related to money. I decided to just go with money so I could learn how to do the rest. For me, the simpler I make it, the better. I'll let Chaol talk to you about the symbols. From what I can tell, it seems the specificity of symbols often have to do with how you may be interacting with them. But I think the general rule is the less specific, the better. We were planning a group thing which would result in $50 million for each participant. Maybe everyone would still like to try that? And Major Man, I hope you will continue with taking the lead on this group project. I thought you were doing a good job. $50 million sounds good to me! Sa-weet! Well, we can just count you in on the group thing then. Do yourself a favor and watch this amazing video. Perhaps follow the trend in the past few pages and do some visualization exercises? Imagine yourself driving (the restored car) with your family to a vacation spot that normally requires a lot of wealth? Maybe imagine you all in very expensive clothing, the feel of the fabric against your skin, the push back from the gas pedal as you accelerate and the sensation of just knowing everything turned out better than expected (maybe the smile on your face during that moment of realization and the over all feel of your family loving/enjoying their life)? When I was a little kid, I used to be daydreaming about being able to teleport to anywhere whenever I wanted. But I think a bigger car is more relevant to me now. And this way I could go to almost anywhere, almost whenever I want with my whole family. :) I think it may be much easier to perceive physical things, like a car, or a lot of money on a bank account, because we can see examples for those around us, so our conscious mind accepts it more easily. While I have yet to see anyone who teleports at will on a daily basis, I have already seen quite a few families with nice, big cars, and people with decent wealth. I am not saying OOB is impossible though - I only think (at least for me) OOB would be too big a step at first and possibly a little scary experience, too. | Anonymous Coward User ID: 27068324 11/09/2012 02:32 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Hi, Quoting: madcaddy I have been reading Chaol's threads for a few months, but until now did not feel like joining it. just after I made up my mind a few weeks ago to join anyway, some of you mentioned how many people are reading this thread, but only a handful of them are actively contributing. So here is one of the silent readers... As an engineer, I have a rather logical mindset and I am usually pretty critical of things that are discussed on GLP. I actually find it very weird that I ended up on a site that discusses UFOs, crop circles and those kind of stuffs. To be honest this is the first thread that I have not closed right after reading the first few posts. Anyway the main reason why I am here is because I believe there really is some logic in the Genius that Chaol introduced here and on the ecsys website. As I have been reading this thread, I could recall quite a few events in my life that most probably happened, because I used a technique similar to the Genius. Although that time I did that without knowing it, now I am willing to do it consciously. For example when I was a young boy I always wanted a scooter (not the one for kids, but the motorbike). But of course I did not have the money for it. All I could do is to daydream about having it. Actually not the event of getting it, but similar to Chaol's case with the Bentley, I tried to experience with my mind's eye how it feels when I make the scooter stop with my shoes that had red led lights on the back of its sole (maybe you remember those kind of cheap shoes from the beginning of 90's). Not long after, probably the upcoming summer, my two brothers and me decided to put together our savings and bought a pretty old scooter that we renovated. And then I rode that scooter for real and made it stop by putting my feet on the ground. It felt just like I dreamed about it. Then a number of years later when I had a pretty hard examination at the university I studied a lot, but the enormous amount of thesis and proofs were not easy at all to understand. At first I always felt like it was not doable, but after I finished studying late in the night I closed my eyes and tried to figure out how it would feel like when I receive an A grade and how the professor would sign my academic record book. And 99% of the time when I did that, I got exactly the grade I expected. When I did not do it (mostly in my earlier years), I had used to get really bad grades, sometimes even failing the exams. But that's probably more than enough of me and my past. The question that I have not found yet in this thread, and I really wonder why it has not occurred to anyone yet, is WHY does the Genius work? On ecsys website Chaol nicely describes what and how to do to change your perspective (create symbol, create surrounding logic, and allow possibility for interaction, then interact), but there is not a single word about the WHY? Probably it's just me, but as an engineer, I really want to know why things work. I understand, Chaol, that you told us, it is not important why it works, as long as it works, but still it has really been bugging me recently. So after philosophizing about what I read here and some other websites, I came up with an answer for the following questions: 'Why does the Genius work? Why can it alter our perspective and thus our "reality"?' I am sure I have not found the ultimate answer for life, universe and everything right away, but I would be glad if you could add your own thoughts or maybe disprove my thesis. Why does Genius work? As Chaol has already pointed out, we perceive what takes the least energy to perceive. This is one fact I will use later. .................... Sorry for the mistakes in language and the typos, but it is already late at night here and unfortunately English is not my native language (and neither is EC :)). I would really appreciate any comments on my thoughts above. Hi madcaddy, its great to have you here. I thoroughly enjoyed reading your post. I agree with you. We hone in with the genius in a way that makes it possible for us to define our wanted destination. From the representation to the interactions and possibilities we assign to it, we can actually sit back and watch it unfold effortlessly (once we become experts at this; hopefully very soon) Congrats on your new baby and new car on the way! Things work in funny ways don't they? You have a good experience of using these concepts but you didn't have a definition for what you were actually doing. Now you know! I see you getting double your target of $10,000 for your car. Look how you struck gold up with two of your desires but didn't know you could get. Keep up the good work! I barely noticed any spelling or grammar mistakes and I wouldn't have noticed or brought this up if you hadn't mentioned it. But since you did, I'll say again that your post was great |
