U3 User ID: 9834739 United States 02/24/2013 12:40 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I'd like to get into the numbers...but right now, it's not quite gelling for me. I can say this though.....I now have a profound understanding of their power...so that's a great start. Quoting: U3 Reading, Embracing the Wide Sky, helped me. Numbers were/are a resistance. : I have to walk away from it for awhile. My body actually shakes from explosions of realization. It is all so deep and so huge... Major change of perspective! Interesting book by Tammet. I put it on my reading list. I already have a stack of books to read that seems to be reproducing itself and growing overnight. I have to just add titles to a list instead of acquiring the actual book (or .pdf, whichever it may be). Please explain "Numbers were/are a resistance." Thanks. I have had a mental block about numbers....block came from traumatic, childhood experiences and REALLY low self-esteem. All my perception, of course! Heh! U3 User ID: 9834739 United States 02/24/2013 12:45 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Funny! Of course, when you're truly not bothered, you don't react. Shoulder shrugs are good for exhibiting this, IMHO. Absolutely! Today, all this seems so funny! I keep wanting to find silly videos to make you all laugh with me I haven't had a chance to watch any of them yet...but I'm looking forward to it. I'll go ahead and laugh with you now, anyway, LOL! Yesterday, I randomly picked up a stick to carry with me on my walk. It had springy twigs on the end which I enjoyed using as a pretend whip..........when all of a sudden, I whipped my own head, LOL! (It didn't hurt anything but my pride, heh!) After the walk, I carried a tennis shoe as a purse later in the day. I don't need much to keep me laughing, LOL! "We are the music makers. And we are the dreamers of dreams." Willy Wonka |

Quoting: U3 R.A. Schwaller de Lubicz I constantly run into this fellow in my research. He spent 15 years studying the Egyptian temples and interpreting the inscriptions and measurements found there. It appears that he is a premier Western occult mathematician who, for one, re-introduced the notion of evaluating the I Ching in terms of binary numbers. This can also be applied to the neuronicons...and to DNA/RNA...and to vortex mathematics. There is an entire universe of numbers sitting on our doorstep. As it turns out, numbers are not at all boring. I think Lubicz may be the one who started the ball rolling. He is quoted and his conclusions analyzed, endlessly. Correction! I got my Lubiczes mixed up with my Leibnizes! Here is the fellow who "noted with fascination how the I Ching hexagrams correspond to the binary numbers from 0 to 111111, and concluded that this mapping was evidence of major Chinese accomplishments in the sort of philosophical mathematics he admired. ...he concluded that Europeans could learn much from the Confucian ethical tradition. He mulled over the possibility that the Chinese characters were an unwitting form of his universal characteristic." Universal Characteristic The Latin term characteristica universalis, commonly interpreted as universal characteristic, or universal character in English, is a universal and formal language imagined by the German philosopher Gottfried Leibniz able to express mathematical, scientific, and metaphysical concepts. Leibniz thus hoped to create a language usable within the framework of a universal logical calculation or calculus ratiocinator. Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz Born: 1646. Died: 1716. Then, you may be pleasantly surprised by the mathematics of the new world. As far as I can tell, it appears that numbers represent concepts, and those numbers/concepts relate to each other. Numbers in the new world are not used to count and measure things so much as they are used according to their relationships with each other. Isn't this what Tammet is explaining in the book, "Embracing the Wide Sky"? After reading the book's summary, it seems that I am reaching the same conclusions, but while looking in other directions. Hey, hey! A new way of thinking! |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 6853315 United States 02/24/2013 04:29 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | OMG! Look at this from the link: The Temple in Man R.A. Schwaller de Lubicz Page 96 "The organs of the direct intellect—principally, the pituitary gland (hypophesis) and the pineal "eye" (epiphysis)—are located in the southern secret sanctuaries. The pituitary gland, being located at the entrance of room 1 (the central secret sanctuary) is thus considered a doorway—that is to say, as a passage." I wrote about this very thing on the other thread: Thread: Notes from an "alternate universe": Meeting in the new Dream reality (Page 52) |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 6853315 United States 02/24/2013 05:52 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Excerpts from: The Temple in Man R.A. Schwaller de Lubicz What are gods? Quoting: Chaol Science becomes mythology in an other perspective. Are we not exploring physics by telling the story of the gods? Some express ideas in numbers, some in stories. But each is built from relationships. And cultures explore relationships in different ways. We wonder of the ancients wit but see their math as a religion or a mythology. "That these ancient peoples thought differently than we do—and that we must understand this difference if we are to study them properly—seems obvious, but an example will show how difficult it is to put this idea into practice. Schwaller de Lubicz explains in Le Temple de l'Homme (Caracteres, 1957) that in the ancient temple civilization of Egypt, numbers, our most ancient form of symbol, did not simply designate quantities but instead were considered to be concrete definitions of energetic formative principles of nature. The Egyptians called these energetic principles Neters, a word which is conventionally rendered as 'gods'." Then, you may be pleasantly surprised by the mathematics of the new world. As far as I can tell, it appears that numbers represent concepts, and those numbers/concepts relate to each other. Numbers in the new world are not used to count and measure things so much as they are used according to their relationships with each other. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 6853315 "In considering the esoteric meaning of Number, we must avoid the following mistake: Two is not One and One; it is not a composite. It is the multiplying Work; it is the notion of the plus in relation to the minus; it is a new Unity; it is sexuality; it is the origin of Nature. Physis, the Neter Two. It is the Culmination (the separating moment of the full moon, for example); it is the line, the stick, movement, the way, Wotan, Odin, the Meter Thoth, Mercury, Spirit." Chaol's "X" Some legends are of a red dragon such as Nibiru. This serpent form also represents the dream world. The "planet of the crossing" can be thought of as crossing over into the dream world, not just crossing your orbit. Quoting: Chaol If you read some of your 'ancient' texts in this light they would make a lot more sense. "Also, when the ancients considered the process of mathematical multiplication, their mode of calculation had a direct relationship with natural life processes as well as metaphysical ones. Schwaller de Lubicz called this mode the "principle of the crossing" (interestingly, we today continue to symbolize multiplication with the sign of a cross: X). This crossing was not a sterile, mental, numerical manipulation but a symbol for the process by which things enter into corporeal existence. All birth into nature requires a crossing of opposites. It can be the crossing of vertical and horizontal lines, which give birth to the square, the first measurable surface; or male and female, giving birth to a new individual; or warp and weft, creating a fabric; or light, and darkness, giving birth to tangible forms; or matter and spirit, giving birth to life itself. Thus the vital linking up of the mental abstraction of calculation with its counterpart in natural phenomena gave the ancient mathematician a living and philosophic basis for his science." |

I stepped into my own backyard, thinking "OMG! OMG!" about this Lubicz stuff. One of the men that is drinking started shouting, "Oh, my god!" "Oh, my god!" "Oh, my god!" There was barely a lapse between my thinking it and then hearing it shouted into the wide sky. |

Ambra User ID: 35083472 Italy 02/24/2013 07:11 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | My dear friends, just letting you know that I am back. I am so behind on the thread, that I am now reading it backwards to catch up. :) Last thing I knew, I was implementing the use of my newly created word "Mahlvallah", when, some of you may remember, my neighbors white kitten was invading my home at all times. I can report that the kitten is no longer to be seen, she lives quietly in her garden now... though unexpectedly it has been replaced by a renewed chapter of worry regarding my sister, who went mental again, stopping her meds. They seem related, because it was like "one out, the other one in"... I've been really busy dealing with that, quite drained, and I am now ready to catch up with my own life, exit the nightmare and change the dreamscape. I have also created the word "Kaloonga" for "excellent horseback riding" and it works. As I was reminded a few pages back about electronic devices, it occurred to me that my cordless phone has decided to go on vacation and set itself free last week. Apparently, it is having a good time, because the tech guys could not locate the faulty cable, and the bad weather will not make it easy for them to fix the external line. Reading again about Chaol's suggestion to implement randomness to help change perspective (thanks for reposting it), I'll sleep on the couch tonight, just because, and will figure out last minute something random to do tomorrow. I have been gathering some small parts to create another Genius symbol, but will have to ponder on what I want it to represent yet. It's good to be back and have missed you all. :) |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 6853315 United States 02/25/2013 10:22 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | In October 2011, I was practicing for group meditations occurring on 11-11-11. I was laying on my bed on a sunny morning, with sunbeams lighting up the bedroom. I got really deep and kind of lost track of the conversation; there were figures and discussion and whatever else. After awhile, however, I became aware of a really bright light in front of me. I go, "This isn't sunlight! It's much brighter!" With that recognition, this brilliant light moved over the top of my head. I felt a little bit of ruckus going on directly over the crown of my head: swirls and motion. I have felt this before and received wonderful information, so I paid close attention to it this time too. It was not a voice, really, but a communication of some sort that told me, "This is not your life. It is mine!" This was news to me and I took it seriously. I think that this “light” was telling the ego to lay off. Recently, I read something about the ego that struck me: the ego is made for action, but not for thinking. One performs actions using the ego, but that it cannot think. Even Chaol has told us to “think outside of the body”. |

You tease! Consider the possibility that you order yourself into being from chaos... You do this, always, in all ways. This "ordering" has resulted in the possibilities you're experiencing, here, now. In each experience you've ever had, more and more of "this" reality is generated logically from your previous experience. Your observation of this unfolding of order and chaos is reality. |

Busiris is the zero point, the nothing from which everything springs forth. I looked quite a bit of that up and it's pretty amazing. I didn't quite see Bursiris as the pineal, but I take your word for it. You've also seen this in the stars...any place else? Did you know about this....... "The masses along the ancient Nile were involved in many different beliefs and "religions", but to the FEW in the temples, were always taught the same PRACTICAL methods of "inner work"/self-development similar to today's meditation, yoga, tantra, tai chi, qi gong, sacred dances, movements, postures to name a few, throughout TaMeri's (ancient Egypt) 4,000 year known history. Although the most enduring temples, made of stone, are found in what is today called "Egypt", temples made of mostly mudbrick were also located in Sudan, Ethiopia, Somalia & Uganda. In fact, the teachings are from these regions, predating 'ancient Egypt......... What is not well known is that after the Greek invasion of Egypt (around 333 B.C.), the teachings went "underground" & are STILL in existence TODAY, carried on in lineage by the indigenous Africans along the Nile valley !! To paraphrase a fellow seeker: The basic idea of these teachings is that man/woman as we know them are NOT completed beings; that nature develops them only up to a certain point then leaves them to: 1) develop further, BY THEIR OWN EFFORTS. 2) live or die such as they were born. 3) degenerate & lose the capacity for development....So REAL evolution of man/woman in this case means the LONG, INTENSE development of certain inner qualities & features which usually remain undeveloped & cannot develop by themselves...."
