Odd coincidence that two of you were writing sigils when you found this thread...and that you had already communicated between you.

Since you know about sigils, all you need to do, IMHO, is replace those symbols with the neuronicons. Of course, there is a different philosophy behind the neuronicons, but it should be an easy segue.

And, of course, "they" do not change. You do.

I do wonder why there are people who are so opposed to subjects such as these? I like to think that I am tolerant of other's belief systems. I have always asked questions of those who are very different from me and have listened to their explanations. I just store it away in my mind and don't really judge them on it. I may decide that their viewpoint doesn't really interest me, but I don't condemn them to hell for what they believe.

So, why do I have so many "others" in my perspective who condemn ME to hell for my beliefs and interests?

Obviously, it is me reflecting my own judgement of myself, but I don't understand why, or how to get past it. If I'm not hurting anybody, then why should anybody else care what I think or do?

(Hope I'm not being a hypocrite, here.)

Does anyone remember the name of the book Chaol has posted (twice I might add) re: abuse of the English language? I thought I had it but haven't found it yet. And I have to quit looking in the threads now too, time for bed.

It's not abuse of the english language by Robert Graves. I thought the title had Goddess in it and the author's first name is Robert.

Anyway, thanks!

Re: Notes from an "alternate universe". Introduction to a new way of thinking.
2012 is when the lights come on, and the actors begin to be exposed for what they are.

It starts with the son of Malcolm Little (Shabazz) and his 60's fling and her extended family (all of these actors what you would call "CIA" and related operatives, each serving a grand purpose).

I mentioned previosly that "we apologize" for this figure but "it will make more sense later".

Now is the time.

When a fascinating story is exposed then the branches of it come to light, along with actors' multiple characters and scenes.

Your reality breaks down at this level, the stage crumbles. You no longer know what to believe.

"As above, so below"; the world that you thought you knew so well suddenly becomes mysterious.

The dream world opens. 'Truth' stranger than fiction.

Why does it happen?

The illustration of this unknown truth in physically-oriented exposures dictates the grandest illusion. Your perspective creates actors reading from this single script in response.

The more popular it is (seemily good or not) the more likely it is to be a child of this illusion. Be it Coke, McDonald's, Facebook, Google, current affairs, Gaga, or whatever the 'hottest' person or thing is. There is no conspiracy save for the illusion of your own perspective.

Welcome to the dream world.

just now, my daughter in law was struggling with streaming eyes from chopping onions. I told her that it is said that sucking a spoon will help. She tried it and instantly the stinging went away. Genius!

Then, he went on to give us truckloads more of new information. Like Sekhmet. I would never want to have missed that.

Re: Notes from an "alternate universe". Introduction to a new way of thinking.
What's great about the universe is that there's a time and space for everything that can be imagined.

To expect things to remain the same in the face of its expanse leads to experiences of fearing that one would not exist.

(This is not the same as fear of death. Fear of not existing is the ultimate fear because it is the ultimate resistance. It is not an emotional thing or something that would lead to psychoses or may cause one to deny it like fear of clowns. Fear of non-existence is the nature of physicality because it creates the resistance that physicality illustrates through the bifurcation of perspective.)

When we are afraid of letting go of ourselves and resist changing perspectives or make excuses as to why the current perspective should be maintained, then it really is the same thing.

Fear of not being oneself is what keeps one in the illusion of being separate from an other.

I do not suggest that one way is "better" than any other. However, it is inevitable that perspectives change. (As a perspective is not any one thing in particular. But living our lives as we do we come to believe that our perspective should be this or that. That is the point.)

I am suggesting, however, that we can do what is natural for us to do. Something you are already doing.

We (you) are just waiting for you to realize it.

We are appearing to have this conversation because the resistance is still there.

If there was no fear, you would simply be talking to yourself. (Which, really, is what you're doing anyway whether or not you realize it.) You would not resist any reality because "any reality" comprises your perspective.

An analogy would be if one day you woke up with the power to immediately manifest into your reality anything that you could possibly imagine... and you used it to maintain your previous illusion.

And when someone knocks on your door and tells you that you can do anything and shows you how, you look for flaws in their apparel and focus on their left shoe not being fully-tied, or that their sleeve is wrinkled, or that it's very sunny today. And then you spend an additional 10 years looking for ways your new abilities aren't there, or convincing yourself why you can't do something, or focusing on some inconsequential discussion.

All because of the fear of not existing.

This resistance creates physicality. Your physicality has changed (already), and so should the manner in which you resist.

That many of us find our current ("previous") perspective so hard to resist is exactly the point. We cling to our families, television shows, clothes, ideas, jobs, etc., because of this.

(Of course, it may be that your mind sees what I am suggesting as "giving up everything" but of course it would want you to believe that. The reality is that you are already doing the opposite of "giving up everything" when you ignore the greater reality of your perspective.)

Our methods of resistance create all kinds of conversations, realities, beliefs, friends, 'blocking out' of certain stimuli or thought processes, etc.

It becomes its own reality.

So we create a world in which we dream about such expansive realities but are unable to experience them because, "deep down", we actually prefer to maintain the status quo.

Feel like it's been ages since I've posted! The flu knocked me out a few days after Chaol left (hate those nexus points!). Guess I needed more interaction with the dream world? Because sleeping 20+ hours a day is a bit much. Especially when you see less daylight than a freaking housecat! :)

Yay! The gang's all here!

Hello, Cat, and thanks for the welcome back.

The flu is good for hitting the reset button, don't you think? Hope it is all behind you now.

A story? Thanks for the invitation! I just happen to have a story!

You all know by now that I am older than most of you. 58! So, I count decades back when telling some of these stories.

I bought "A Course in Miracles" hot off the press in 1982. An article in "Psychology Today" gave me an interest in it. When it arrived, I read a few pages and then set it down... for seven years! I never touched it again in all that time.

Then, I became bedridden with the flu. I did all the sleeping that I could, but I got bored. So, I finally picked up the ACIM book. Being stuck in bed forced me to read the damn thing. This book offered the most outrageous ideas, that I recall shouting out loud, throwing the book down, then picking it up again.

After all those decades ago, that book never leaves my side. It is ratty, falling apart, with underlining and notes in the margin on nearly every page. I have practiced the Workbook exercises 25 times, but getting all the way through to the very end only once. Strange and fabulous events occurred that were jaw-dropping.

It totally turned my thinking around.

If I had not gotten sick way back then, I don't know how long it would have been until I finally read that book, or if I ever would have.

I rave about this book, because it teaches the very basics of what Chaol has been telling us. Chaol's Ecsys takes us beyond what ACIM offers. ACIM has a religious flavor, which was appropriate for the world in the 1970's, but I had been looking for an extension of those teachings minus the religiosity. Chaol does this perfectly.

Here is my favorite online version of "A Course in Miracles":

The doorknob you touched yesterday is entirely unique from the one today. (One that has of course interacted with other aspects of our perspective that would be called "past" and, thus, seems like the same from yesterday.)
 Quoting: Unit3

There was a day when I could not remember how to open the back door to my house. I don't drink or get high or anything like that, and I am not that old to where I am doddering. I knew that I could go through the door, but I was lost for a moment in how to accomplish that. My eyes were attracted to the shiny brass-colored doorknob and I actually had to fool around with it before I remembered how to turn it and push the door open.

I have had similar experiences with trying to start my car, run my clothes washer, and cook. There was a moment or two when it all looked new and strange, and I couldn't remember how to operate the thing or what to do with a potato.

I have been having trouble with formatting my replies. I see that the above post shows that it was quoted by U3. It is actually a quote by Chaol. I even previewed the post and it did not look like what is showing up on the thread.

This is quite amusing for me to hear how you've discovered that your electronics have 'a mind of their own'.

It's not a Terminator-type scenario where they're waiting to take over or evolving consciousness.

No, no, of course I do not fear any sort of Terminator-type scenario. If anything, there is much more "please" and "thank you" interaction occurring. I have a greater appreciation for these...um...for these...I don't know what to call them. "Electrons"? "Qubits"? "Energetic particles"?

Anyway, there seems to be a much easier cooperation and conversation going both ways. "They" seem to have their own plans and motivations, and I trust them.

The doorknob you touched yesterday is entirely unique from the one today. (One that has of course interacted with other aspects of our perspective that would be called "past" and, thus, seems like the same from yesterday.)

I've had a few of these but would like to have more, heh!

OK, I just got back from my walk. I saw part of a key ring with a napkin attached to it, on the sidewalk.

My first thought:
so this is how we come up with non-nonsensical symbols?

My second thought:

who lives around me that posts in these theads??????????
