Are You a Spiritual Warrior or a Metaphysical Wimp?
I like this one, I say rock the rock;

"Are You a Spiritual Warrior or a Metaphysical Wimp?
by Takara

We came from distant galaxies on a grand mission - to usher Planet Earth and all her inhabitants into the New Age. We held a beautiful vision of a golden age of love and light, where all beings from ants, to rocks, to humans, to lobsters would be honored for their gifts and for who they are.

We are, each of us, cocky rebels and rabel rousers. We actually thought it would be fun. Can you believe that? Deep inside we are each a bit like Hans Solo from Star Wars. We like to do things our own way. We hate joining anything and taking orders, advice, or instructions from others. And we are also like the Three Musketeers. We actually enjoy the fight and it never occurred to us that we wouldn´t win.

So what happened?

Well we were born. We became a tiny infant completely dependent on human parents, who basically had no clue. And we inherited their limiting beliefs and fears and then we took on a pile of our own. Life reflected back to us people and situations that proved to us that our beliefs were correct and we became depressed, co-dependent, addicted, obsessed, ill, obese, and our self esteem spiraled ever downward.

We learned that happiness and getting our way required that we conform to the desires of those around us. We had to "behave." We had to "be good." We had to get certain marks in school. We had to be polite. We had to do well in sports. We had to do a million things.

In school we had to learn the answers the teachers wanted to hear - even if what was being taught was completely wrong.

If we asked questions that challenged societies beliefs, we were told to stop making trouble. If we questioned things being taught to us by our parents or through whatever religion we were born into, we were silenced. Heaven forbid if we shared that we could see angels, could astral project, or heard voices. That nonsense would absolutely not be tolerated. We shut down our curiosity, our genius, our connection to Spirit, and our joy.

It was safer.

Then we became adults with the same depression, co-dependency, addictions, obsessions, illnesses, obesity, and our self esteem had not improved.

We went to college and chased after what our parents, society, the magazines and television said was the ultimate dream - an attractive partner/mate, a powerful career, a home, a fancy car, the right friends, the best vacations. Even if we managed to attain all that, we still felt empty and shallow. We still weren´t happy.

Finally one day something happened that was so awful we thought our entire world had been shattered. And it had. We were hit by the metaphysical two by four up side the head. Our soul was shouting: "Wake Up!"

So slowly and painfully we woke up to the fact that we were spiritual beings having a human experience and that most of what we believed was rubbish. We began seeking answers from books, friends, teachers, gurus, workshops, religions, massage, yoga, Reiki, and on and on. We did a million therapies and tried too many techniques to count, in order to unlearn everything that previously had been so important. We became workshop, book, psychic reading junkies. Unfortunately, many of us simply replaced the old junk with new junk and didn´t really improve our lifes or our level of happiness at all.

Some of us were actually tenacious enough to actually accomplish deep healing. We grew. We evolved. We began to understand how manifesting in this dimension really works. We learned how to observe our life as we participated in it. We remembered that seeking happiness was important.

And then we got caught up in what we believed was the appropriate way to behave as spiritual people. We started shutting down our truth just as we did as children. We began to observe much more than we participated. We became loving and sweet and just allowed whatever happen to gently roll off our back. We dropped out of society and only spent time with the one or two friends that we could find of "like mind."

We WIMPED OUT.

I didn´t come here to be a nice girl, look pretty, and simply enjoy the sunset over the Jemez Mountains every day. (It is quite lovely, however)

I came here to ROCK this place. Bust up the bull. Wake up the folks. Move this sucker (the earth) into the next dimension.

I came here to completely throw off the shackles binding me to mediocrity and help as many people as possible do the same.

I´m no longer willing to NOT say or write something, just because I don´t want to offend anyone. I´m no longer sitting on the side lines saying that whatever is happening in Washington, in Iraq, or anywhere else, doesn´t involve me directly so I´ll just pretend it isn´t happening, manifest my own beautiful little reality, and ignore and allow whatever else is going on. No, not anymore.

Ah, but now I´m coming from a much different place - a healed place. I´m not an angry activist blaming others for all the problems in the world. I know that I am responsible for what is happening in my world and now I´m ready to change it on a bigger scale. I can see my life and world events from a much higher perspective. I am not reacting or being run by negative emotion. I am in a calm, clear, wonderful place and I´ve decided to stand up for what I believe is in the highest and best interest of all humanity and this planet.

I´m back in the world game."

Re: Are You a Spiritual Warrior or a Metaphysical Wimp?
It really is easy and all you have to do is change the way you view the world and your place in it, time to stop standing on the sidelines of life, time to act, bring spirit to your essence and let it flow through you to the world;

"The only way one can transcend to the level of a Spiritual Warrior is by having faith in life. Yes, Spiritual Warriors have bills, have life challenges, have relationship difficulties, but they are not defined by these challenges, they embrace them and respond to them with Love, not fear. And with Love, all that which is unlike it, will fade away. When you´re a Spiritual warrior, you walk with a spring in your step, a smile on your face and knowingness in your heart. One can always spot Spiritual Warriors because they shine their way thru life. Spiritual Warriors know that the future will take care of itself and that the Highest Choice for every moment is the choice of Love. A Spiritual Warrior knows his/her place on Earth, and knows it is the Universes great pleasure to give him/her the kingdom. A Spiritual Warrior carries the consciousness that life is truly good. Let us choose to be Spiritual Warriors, let us choose to take the high road into the unpredictable future. Let us be the individuals we dream to be, let us be Spiritual Warriors so that our true selves can heal the wounded, love the unkind and manifest peace in our world, everyday of our lives. "

Words sound great but the fulfillment of beauty within comes when we feed on the beauty without;

"To do this, we must wake in the morning by giving thanks for our breath and by realizing that the day is full of opportunities to share ourselves with the world as a true warrior of peace and love. The world awaits our performance, we´ve been back stage much too long. We know our lines, we´ve been dress rehearsing a great deal, and we must now go forth on faith."

Words or just words, by their actions you know who is kind and who is evil. We all have our own tellings how to be or not to be. Actions speak louder than words.

Actions are a reflex of training, training the luminous body requires dedication to the art. If we act reflectively we tend to be defensive, yet if we are attune to a higher level of conscious reflection then we can begin to anticipate moments and expand our horizons, we need not repeat the same sequnce within our life each day, groundhog day need never repeat if we breath the breath of freedom upon the bliss of spirit.

It is action that starts to shift reality, but the thought moves the ripple in the fabric of time. OUr very essence screams to explode outward in force to rock this Earth into a plane of exsistence that it is it´s divine right.

This is the warrior, the messenger and it takes great patience and practice, I strive daily to see naught but beauty, for beauty is life, life beauty.

There is a crumbling wall between will and intention is the key to the avalanche.

"Mark (1:3) reports that Yogic Christ was in the wilderness... and he was with the wild beasts, and the angels ministered unto him. From such retreat comes the peace, which passes understanding, the deepest wellspring of spiritual life. This Yogic Christ reminds us that the true kingdom of heaven lies within each of us and is conscious living in spiritual union with self-conscious."

Mark 1:3“a voice of one calling in the desert, ‘Prepare the way for the Lord,
make straight paths for him.’

Re: Are You a Spiritual Warrior or a Metaphysical Wimp?
Sorry about that I may have put that in the wrong discussion, my point being that sometimes the inaction speaks much louder than the action.

I can gain much more inner strenth by taking moments each day to breath deep and center the core, core strenth comes from disipline and that in turn gives you energy to move forward. It is called dynamic flow movement and it is a combination of eastern and western exercise and that movement increases your spiritual attunment/atonement enabling you to be able to feel the actions that bombard us each day and better equip us to rise to the spiritual height our body/temple needs to do thy will.

Why did Jesus often go out alone into the wilderness, perhaps he needed to be at one with all to give him the strenth to act. Perhaps both east/yoga and west/movement culminate in truth for all.

Yup.
Ever since I came to this planet.
But without so many words, and not branded by any kind of sign.
I´ll never be a follower, nor do I wish to be a leader.

All I can say is that the less I own, the freer I am. (Warm place to sleep & food almost everyday is nice, though.) Stop the inner babbling and tune in to the real news.

Peace & respect to all!

cheers

Re: Are You a Spiritual Warrior or a Metaphysical Wimp?
Losing the human form brings the freedom to remember your self. Losing the human form is like a spiral. It gives you the freedom to remember and this in turn makes you even freer.

A warrior knows that he is waiting and knows also what he is waiting for, and while he waits he feasts his eyes on the world. The ultimate accomplishment of a warrior is joy.

Accept your fate in humbleness. The course of a warrior´s destiny is unalterable. The challenge is how far he can go within those rigid bounds, how impeccable he can be within those rigid bounds. If there are obstacles in his path, the warrior strives impeccably to overcome them. If he finds unbearable hardship and pain on his path, he weeps, but all his tears put together could not move the line of his destiny the breadth of one hair. Fulfill your fate as a warrior not as a petty person.

A warrior is prepared to go into the unknown, yet not knowing what she will find there is part of being prepared. She also knows how long to stay there, in the unknown, and can find her way back to this world. With each Journey she adds to her personal power---power she must then use to change this reality closer to what she just experienced.......

"COMMITMENT TO SELF HEALING AND THE
PATH OF THE SPIRITUAL WARRIOR
Category: Healing.

The decision to embark on a path of self discovery and healing is one which requires great courage, perseverance and single minded determination. It is not a decision that should be made on the spur of a whim or without an honest desire to search into our most hidden, darkest, secret corners.

Indeed, that is where the truth always lies - in places we have done our best to hide and forget about... places which hold our most frightening secrets...our largest most terrifying demons...

Places which many of us have become proficient at creating and then burying with the intent that they never be uncovered again because we didn´t want to deal with them in the first place. The mark of a great warrior or master is that they are willing time and again to face their own darkness, their own demons, to have the courage to face their inner selves. This requires the stripping of layers that we have built up on false foundations with which we covered our true selves...our souls."

The time has come for me to face it, and this is the battle of the warrior, not the external sword, but the internal sword of truth, challenge your essense and overcome the innate evil contained within.
