SNIP:
Obama’s speech to the children of the land looms on September 8th. Many in the public are rightly wary of the material, designed by the White House, for kids to explore most things Obama. Trust me, the speech itself will be a flowery, encouraging, innocuous sentiment from the Prez. Obama supporters will say the controversy is much ado about nothing. Nothing could be further from the truth.
The White House had to scratch a line from the required teaching materials today; students now won’t have to determine how they can help Obama. DOE officials and the administration are hoping that this small bone will placate the critics. What they AREN’T publicizing, however, is the fact that your kids are expected to read propaganda books about Obama as a complement to the big talk.
Here is a look at 2 of them: Barack Obama: Son Of Promise, Child Of Hope and another titled simply Barack. Try to keep your lunch down.
Barack Obama: Son Of Promise, Child of Hope is full of gems like this:
“His mama, white as whipped cream; his daddy, black as ink…”
“He was there in Chicago because he cared about these people. They were his family. People in Kenya were his family. Indonesians were his family. And no matter where he was, the world was his home. And who he was could be summed up in one word: loveable.”
Lord, help us all. Here are some more from this great reason to home-school:
When Barack wasn’t studying he liked to jog along the Hudson River. He couldn’t help but notice the river of hurt and hate and history that separated blacks and whites. Being both, he could not take sides. Don’t worry, said Hope. I will be your bridge. In time you will be the bridge for others.
Reverend Wright gets a nod, as his is the only Chicago church Obama ever attended:
When his classes came to an end, he raced to Chicago to join hands with the church, to learn new lessons: Not how to be black or white, but how to be a healer, how to change things, how to make a difference in the world.
A healer who paid his dues as a Community Organizer.

While we're handing out reading assignments --
How about we assign Obama some light reading
Say... the Constitution and Bill of Rights Czar: 1) An unelected person given substantial authority over a particular policy; 2) sometimes used to refer to monarchs of imperial Russia.

This is more proof of Obama's glaringly obvious narcissistic compulsion Czar: 1) An unelected person given substantial authority over a particular policy; 2) sometimes used to refer to monarchs of imperial Russia.

How can people not see the parallels between this guy and early 20th century Socialists, Communists, and Marxists. They are even using the same symbolism and styles of artwork for crying out loud. You half expect him to build a statue of himself stoically looking forward into the future with little children holding hammers and sickles all around him.

I do have a child, but she goes to a Christian private school. It is hard enough to battle the media and society, I don't need Barry's brainwashing too. I sure understand why many of my friends home-school.

On the horizon, at the dawn of a new age, there appeared a man who would be the embodiment of King’s dream — a presidential candidate whose very being was a bridge that joined nations.
A man, yet a bridge for the world by his very existence! He blessed Reverend Wright’s church with his attendance, and:
There, swept up in the waves of their singing, with tears on his cheeks, he knew why he was there. He knew who he was and he knew where he belonged.
Cue the choir. For the Messiah: T For Texas, T For Tennessee!

Wow.
Sounds to me like he's actually declaring himself the Messiah! Could that be right?
I wonder what the Christian coalition thinks of this?

I will take great pleasure in burning any of that material if it even comes near my house...and my children will not be forced to read this shit... "Livin' The Dream..."

Re: Obama Propaganda Books Your Kid Is Expected To Read
This is totally outrageous! How can any sane person support this kind of thing? Someone needs to put the brakes on Obama and his meglomania before this goes any farther. Does he listen to anybody? Probably not because after all it is HE who is the Messiah but somebody needs to take him aside and tell him that just maybe he isn't.
