I was alive then . . . were you? The paranoia was based on real fear. We came very close to war. The Russians blinked and Kennedy didn't and that was that.

I find her interpretations regarding the Crop Circles a real trip. No way to verify but no one else comes up with as good or consistent interpretations. Can you do better? |

Yes there is. And those verifications have proved her conclusively wrong. ALL of her predictions (that have been precise enough to actually verify) have proven false. Some others are worded so vaguely (deliberately) that it's not possible to verify them, but that doesn't apply to the main Planet X-related predictions.
Her Planet X does not exist. This can be verified and has been, many times, by many people. |

How do you verify that a mini-solar system does not exist hiding within the corona of the sun between the earth and the sun. If you have new physics that we humans don't understand "Repulsion of Like-sized bodies in a vacuum", and a red dust cloud obscuring the complex which does not reflect light toward the Earth except under the most unusual circumstances. You have to admit Nancy is good at covering her bases . . . While I will admit she may be totally wrong there are a lot of very intelligent and educated people who feel (in their bones) something is coming. I just attended a 2hr lecture from a PhD Paleontologist not too long ago which made me want to look for a hole to hide in. You think noting is or has changed or the last several years??

From the McCarthys to the bomb it was something to really
be afraid of back then. Now,I can list quite a few B level
scifi writers that would blow her out of the water. Hell,
a Saturday Night SciFi Channel movie is better than her
cobbled together crap. You do realize that she is spouting
a collection of UFO cult myths, right? The primary basis
for her stuff comes from Betty and Barny Hill. And before you
get any ideas I am a supporter of UFOlogy. But I think that
people like Nancy and Candace and all the others like them
make serious UFO research look stupid.
I think about the people she hurt. I was on TT-Watch in 2003
and saw the posts from people who believed her that quit jobs
and even left families because they didn't want to move with
them to the "safe" locations. You might find her entertaining,
but I don't. I feel sorry for her, and I'm disgusted at the few
who still egg her on with their phony support. Its those phony
trolling supporters who I take to task.

I read the post on TT-Watch: very powerful! If the post is real (which I can in no way dispute) it demonstrates the danger of believing anything completely. This is the best evidence I have seen which possibly discredits Nancy's story. The Zetas weren't too empathic or sympathetic for the people who believed their little white lie. Were they?

There's a Japanese Sci-Fi movie from the '50's, "Warning From Space" that has "Planet R", a rogue wandering planet that's heading into the solar system. It produces weather changes, tidal waves, earthquakes, volcanos.
I have no idea if Planet X is real or not. It's a fascinating concept/story. I do know that "Warning From Space" could well have been used in toto as the template for the Planet X scenario.
Or, maybe the Japanese were familiar with sumerian writings regarding Nibiru, and simply extrapolated from that for their fiction, and unknowingly hinted of something to come?
I don't know, but the debate's fascinating. |

planets in our solar system closly for way less than half a
century and it's very difficult to conclude that something
unusual is happening with them. And please keep in mind that
Coincidence doesn't imply correlation and correlation doesn't
imply causation. Claiming that a giant planet is bouncing
around the inner solar system without being seen as the cause
of any anomalies is no more valid than claiming that Bozo the
Clown caused them.
How about you cite these anomalies that you are referring to
and I we'll see if they are so unusual or not. Try citing
just a few first.

The History Channel, Discovery Channel, SyFy Channel, as well as Hollywood: i.e. ‘Knowing’, ‘2012’ (two movies this Fall), ‘The Day the Earth Stood Still,’ ‘ Deep Impact,’ ‘Armageddon,’ ‘On The Beach’ (Australian), ‘I am Legend,’ etc. have turned up the intensity and frequency of End- Of- The- World themes. The Extinction Level Events (E.L.E.s) depicted range from disease to passing planets or heavenly bodies that create disaster on Earth.
Do you think Hollywood and their T.V. cousins are cooperating to send a message to the average person or is it just good business? seems that there are just too many End-of- World presentations on all types of media to ignore a conscious or unconscious agreement that something very big is coming. I have studied for many years Anthropology, History, Religion, Law and Medicine. I have a good background in science but lack specific knowledge in Astronomy, Physics, and Orbital Mechanics so I have to rely on other experts to validate concepts which are presented. My feeling is academic and governmental sources of information are highly regulated and controlled. Peer review activities don’t allow controversial or leading edge concepts to be openly presented and debated. So unfortunately or fortunately, the only powerful outlet of concepts and information remain in the arena of the arts and fiction or Movies, T.V. and Books, Blogs, etc. The real question is how do we interpret what is valid from invalid. I suggest we look at frequency, intensity, and internal consistency along with the number of different outlets the same concept is being presented from. What so you think? |
