Hi guys i have to tell you something i have been noticing something strange in the sky stars don't move rite? look in the sky concentrate on the brightest stars look at them for 5 mins if trust me they MOVE!! i am not bull shiting and i dont mean move like an inch or so like they really move |

Live in Vegas, cannot see stars. 2nd week of October I will be in the mountains. I will check it out, if we ain't dead yet!

I noticed this as a kid.
Especially on clear nites when you see many stars - away from the big city.
I noticed three types.
The ones that move slowly and in a straight line.
These are satelites.
The stars that seem to wobble aren't moving.
No one can stand perfectly still. But if you stare up and are standing, you tend to get a wee bit dizzy after a while and you imperceptably move, and this movement makes the stars seem to move. It could also be a shimmer effect from the layers of atmosphere.
The third are unusual. They move like satelites but change trajectory at acute angles. They also seem to spawn other lites that move off.
I have no idea what they are.
I heard a local astronomer take calls on a radio show about this and he said it was just the way the atmosphere makes the satelite's movement look erratic.
It's cool if you see it, and a little scary. |

These are the various satellites, in general not Geosynchronous. GPS are like that moving all the time, LEO type etc.

noticed the same thing pleadian, I have looked at some southern stars and others looking straight up and noticed too they will move to the right and then back to the left and pulsating too.

I don't think they are moving. I think your necks are moving and this makes your mind think they are moving.
I looked at some the other night that I thought were moving. It turned out the wind was blowing tree branches and made it appear like so.
I'm not saying you all are reporting fibs, but I think you should ensure your sober and have a firm footing when you stare at them. |

So grab a camera and video it, including some ground based objects.

I used to think the stars were moving when you look at them, but later found out it's just a trick of the eye. I applied the same technique to a distance street light, and got the same result. |

ok, this is what I saw: I was watching the moon with my Bushnell's. And the clouds. And the moon being completely covered by the one little cloud I thought. Well the sky was grey and it was getting dark and there were clouds and I have my Bushnell's.I did not see green on this and I was being a smart ass- OMG, I see a UFO. not serious-I was being totally sarcastic. I watch it for 10 or 15 seconds.
I wait for it to come out of the cloud. (It was headed straight for the moon but there was that cloud so maybe it only looked like it to me.)
So, I see the flashing yellow, silver, red. On the other side of the globe of the moon now.(My right side) I watch it. It comes back now after it had passed and another object comes from what would be straight into the binoculars and is now behind the first object I saw and they are going back from the direction the whole thing started!
Then the cloud. So I put the binoculars down. And talk and of course I do not know what I am seeing?! Right ! I saw it. I could not believe I was not taken seriously.
So then I pick the Bushnell's back up and look again. It appears that there are streaks of red and yellow targeting at each other and darting to and fro. 20 seconds or so of those lights everywhere, then they darted further towards the moon away from my capable vision- and then an airplane came from the West. I could see the green lights. It did not go to play in the moonlight like the other ojects I observed. It stayed on a straight path.
I am sharing this story with you. I know what I would like to think, but don't really know what to think?

Get some sophisticated equipmement, record the data and prove it. Otherwise relying solely on your eyes and saying, "trust me" doesn't cut it. |

you are very right my friend, all the supposed stars moves, that means your 3rd eye its open, venus, jupiter, mintaka, rigel, antares, sirius, etc..
next time, talk with them, no words, with your mind and check it.
check also: look at them, think any issue not related with the stars and realize how they know you are looking at them, they move, weird but it happens. |
