Do you think Country music artists need to go through the same B.S. or is it relegated to Hip Hop/Rap and Rock artists? I say we go back to the days of banjos and pianos. Maybe someone could blow into a bottle to add some layers to the music. :)

That was the thing about Radiohead that would somewhat befuddle me. They obviously are very talented and have a plethora of amazing songs but they have hardly any radio play and are rarely recognized with awards. If you take a look at this link: [link to en.wikipedia.org] you can see the number of times they were nominated but never won. The ratio is pretty clear. I guess it's feasible that they turned their back on the industry and have been paying for it ever since.
