You know another thing I've noticed is how someone's eyes change once they get famous. You'll see them when they first start out and they look pretty normal but then after a while they get this crazed, power hungry look. But they are still human so not all pics look like that. It's only when something takes over them.
I remember watching a Britney Spears show where they interviewed Madonna and her eyes just looked freaky as heck. Her mannerisms even changed. When I was younger I used to think it would be so cool to be famous but now it's disgusting to me. Why anyone first of all want ppl in their bizness all the time and secondly give up their being to something else. It hit me during my Screenplay writing class that if my scripts were ever picked up that I'd lose some of my anonymity. Haven't felt like writing one ever since.

They are definitely in it for the money and the women, no doubt about that. We have to keep in mind that they are still human but being used by entities. So they'll be enticed by worldly possessions. I don't think they go into the studio thinking they are going to make songs that speak of bad entities or loyalty to the baddest entity (don't like saying his name). I think those moments of inspiration/flashes of light (for lyrics) that hit them are from the bad source. Their minds are open to it.
Also what's up with artists starting out with positive messages and then turning into skanky hookers. Like Mariah Carey started out with songs talking about the Lord and innocent romantic songs. Then a few years down the road she comes out with the video Honey and she looks like a whore. Same with Whitney Houston. Very innocent, poppy songs, some songs about God and then in the late 90's she started to change. They both had amazing voices and were positive influences for me growing up. Now they have subpar voices and I wouldn't really call them positive influences. Saw Whitney Houston on Good Morning America last week and she was acting really weird. Maybe it was nerves but to me it seemed like she was on something. I miss the old Whitney and Mariah. Nobody has substance anymore.
