I was at work at the salon. It was 2pm over here and we heard the news on the radio. There's always lots of chatter in the salon, but that day all the talking stopped and it was the just the noise from the hairdriers. It was eerie.

I had just gotten up and was late for work. I had my neighbor take my daughter to school, for his crew and my daughter all went to the same elementary school. I had just gotten off the phone with my girl friend when she called me to say that there was a plane crash at the WTC. She thought it was just an accident. When I found out later on what happened, my daughters' mom and I went up to school, to pull out our daughter. Obviously we were very concerned for after the second plane hit and then the two other incidents, we thought it was WW3. That was a very scary time.

Where were you when more than 1 million afghan and Iraqi women and children were slaughtered ?

I am not so sure what it is now, but, it is definitely not the same and never will be again.
