Now someone who is in Class I was obviously at some time in the past a member of Class II. Non of us can guarantee that we will still be drawing breath at this time tomorrow. I don´t understand why you put this strain on yourself. Do you really know what the risk and consequences are?
I believe the bible is pretty specific about Satan being the ruler of the Earth (revelations 12:9) and putting a veil over people (2 corinthians 4:3-4). So God throw Satan to earth, he knows that we are being veiled and that we sin because of that.
So what are the Risks and consequences? Would your God punish me, as a non Christian. Because i listened to Satan that God put on this Earth in the first place. What kind of Sadistic, merciless God would that be... that would be closer to Satan then to God, am i right or am i right?
I think, that if you listen to Satan or not, God will not punish. If you are dead in Christ, this is caused by Satan (That is what you believe right?)
This is also why i really don't believe in a rapture this way.
One Thing you are right in is that Today is the most important day of your life. Now is the most important moment in your life. You can't change the future, you can't change the past. But you can change now.
And right now, you shouldn't be worried about the people that are being veiled by Satan. They won't get burned in hell for all eternity... Slapped on the fingers, perhaps. But that is between them and God.
Stop spreading fear, it's not necessary at all. If You want to focus on being a good Christian, be my guest.
And Jesus was very very clear:
"A man came to Jesus and asked, "Teacher, what good thing must I do to have life forever?" Jesus answered, "Why do you ask me about what is good? Only God is good. But if you want to have life forever, obey the commands." The man asked, "Which commands?" You do things before you follow him. And not that you can follow him and then suddenly you have to be all good and all loving. You have to be, before you can be in Class II. And in my logical opinion, everyone who didn't do this is in Class I. |

I KNOW when the rapture will be:
Luke 12:40

Why?
Luke 12:39
""But be sure of this, that if the head of the house had known at what hour the thief was coming, he would not have allowed his house to be broken into."
Jesus has to come when we least expect Him, other wise, the owner of this "house" would watch and stop Him from robbing Him.
The Son of Man that Jesus spoke of is not himself but the one that he promised his Father would send. Many biblical scholars are aware that when Jesus was talking about the Son of Man he was not talking about himself.
When will Christians get the picture?

The church has no power over me since I left it. I left the Catholic church and now I left the ELCA lutheran church.
Christ consciousness is a false teaching. We live once.
Other people in the bible may be reincarnated to suit God's will but 99.99% of people live and die--once. Otherwise, it's pointless. It's redundant. People who talk about Christ consciousness say there is no sin; just mistakes.
Try telling that to the family whose child was abducted and killed by a pedophile. |

Do you know that it's not judgment or condemnation or hellfire, but God's goodness that brings us to repentance?
It's all in there. They may not mention any of this much at the pulpit, since they're usually preoccupied with Israel and so forth.

I don't care what kind of visions people claim they had, or alleged tours of hell Jesus has led them on, or whatever - what matters is whether their data is scriptural. There are people on GLP who claim Jesus walked them through his command ship - do you automatically believe them, or do they have to make a video before you buy it? Is *sincerity* now the standard by which we gage truth? If so, maybe you and I need to give Islam some serious consideration.
Throughout the bible, fire is metaphorical of trials and tribulations. John the Baptist said that Jesus will baptize us with fire. Fortunately, I've never experienced him literally immersing me into actual flames, but I have faced scores of difficult challenges which have brought me to the end of my rope. The epistles confirm that such "fiery trials" purify us and teach us patience and steadfastness. And yet, somehow we believe that "sinners" will get real, literal fire, instead of the bearable symbolic fire we believers undergo? That makes no sense, and it makes God a respecter of persons. |
