Yeah, basically this all powerfull God of biblical text takes all this time and effort to create this utterly beautiful planet for us to exist in. Gives us freewill to do as we wish. Then at a given point in time God decends upon his beautiful creation like a ravenous, grotesque Baby Huey with hammer in hand while foaming at the mouth and in mid-coniption fit to stomp out those whose freewill choices he doesn't agree with.

Actually my understanding of the situation boils out the human drama factor and strictly pertains to consciousness developement and groupings.
So I see the population explotion of the last several decades akin to the cellular explosion that occurs in a developing fetus. It's the same process that's happening. Which will include people of all faiths and cultures working as one.
So I'm against the 'country club' aspect that Christianity and other religions employ.

Ok listen up. Armageddon is a battle that takes place near Israel during revelations.
Tribulation, which also happens during revelations, is a series of global and stellar events which mess the planet up.
EVERYONE DOES NOT DIE.
One part of tribulations is a "mountain strikes the sea" killing 2/3 of the fish, and 2/3 of the population NO THE COAST so a study needs to be done to calculate how many of Earths 7-billion people live on the coast. People inland do not die from this.

Revelations 8:7 says 1/3 the Earth get burned up but does not say 1/3 the people.

you believe in myths and legends, I guess.... We are all GOD, together, ONE, and so there is no one "figure" making anything happen.... we all make it together.... and many want Armageddon and many do not. So what happens when we do not agree on co-creation.
We agreed to end this game of pain, war, and man/woman's inhumanity to man/woman.... and so this is the grand finale.... billions of souls poured in to this incarnation in order to fulfill goals...for after this period of time, the birth rate will drop in a huge way. Already men's fertility has dropped by 30% and dropping still.

Yes, I am certainly detecting a pattern. A loving God creates the heavens and earth and then man. God gives man everything of the air, land, and sea to use. The only thing God asks for in return is respect and love. Man rejects God and sins constantly and defiles himself with the ways of this world and put himself before God. A just God who demands (and warrants justice) who punishes the wicked and rewards the righteous does the former. |
