Delusional people who don't think hell is an eternal place of punishment.

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

This thread was actually started for "Christians" who do not think Hell is a literal place where spirits go. This thread was not necessarily for people who do not believe that Christ was born of a virgin, died for our sins, rose from the dead, and is alive today and forever

(Please don't bite my face off!)

hf

Remember, folks:

People go to hell only because they reject God's salvation in Christ alone.

Everlasting - G166
aionios
ahee-o'-nee-os
From G165; perpetual (also used of past time, or past and future as well): - eternal, for ever, everlasting, world (began).

Strong's G166 - aionios
1) without beginning and end, that which always has been and always will be
2) without beginning
3) without end, never to cease, everlasting

AV — eternal 42, everlasting 25, the world began + 5550 2, since the world began + 5550 1, for ever 1

Matthew 25:45, 46
Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. And these shall go away into everlasting [G166 AIONIOS] punishment: but the righteous into life eternal [G166 AIONIOS].

The Duration of Hell: Aion, Aionios

Eternal fire for the unregenerate is a biblical reality. Jesus said it was. It was for this reason that Jesus died (cf. Rom. 5:8-10). Those who are not imputed with the righteousness of Christ through faith in Him, will be cast out into hell where they will endure eternal punishment: “And these will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life” (Matt. 25:46). Here the word “eternal” (aionion) is used BOTH to describe the DURATION of life that believers will have and the “punishment” (kolasin) that the unregenerate will undergo—thus, the punishment is endless just as the “eternal life” is endless for believers. Commenting on this passage (viz. on the phrase, kolasin aionion, “eternal punishment”), renowned Greek scholar A. T. Robertson states: “[aionios] comes as near to the idea of eternal as the Greek can put it in one word.”[1] Those that deny the never-ending duration of God’s wrath (hell) do so primarily on emotional grounds (e.g., distorting the love of God) and a faulty understanding of the Greek terms aion (“age”) and aionios[2] (“eternal”/“everlasting”). The Greek word aionios is from the root word aion meaning “age.” The Universalists and others who deny the never-ending duration of hell point out that the term aionios does not always mean “eternal,” but can refer to a temporary or finite period of time.

However, note the following details:

1. CONTEXT determines meaning. Words are defined by their context. It is a great error in hermeneutics to limit words to one meaning when they may have multiple meanings as with the majority of Greeks words—it always depends on the context. It is true that the term aionios can be used to indicate a temporary non-eternal state (as in Rom. 16:25). However, just because the root (aion) of the term aionios means “age” it does not mean that every time the term is used it indicates temporality. For example, Paul uses aionios to describe God’s eternal nature: “who alone possesses immortality and dwells in unapproachable light; whom no man has seen or can see. To Him be honor and eternal [aionion] dominion! Amen” (1 Tim. 6:16). It would be heresy to translate aionion here in a temporal sense making God’s dominion temporary—for His sovereignty is everlasting.

2. Lexical Support. The lexical support for aionios as denoting the concept of eternal/everlasting life for the believer in passages such as John 3:16; 6:47; 10:28; etc. is unquestionable. Equally, the lexical support for aionios as denoting the concept of eternal/everlasting damnation in passages such as Matthew 25:41, 46; 2 Thessalonians 1:9; Revelation 14:11; 21:10; etc. is indisputable. Aside from passages where aionios means “eternal” life (as seen above) and denoting God’s eternal nature (e.g., Rom. 16:26), Vine's Expository Dictionary of Biblical Words (1985) states: “Aionios is also used . . . of the judgment of God, from which there is no appeal, Heb. 6:2, and of the fire, which is one of its instruments, Matt. 18:8; 25:41; Jude 7, and which is elsewhere said to be ‘unquenchable,’ Mark 9:43. The use of aionios here shows that the punishment referred to in 2 Thes. 1:9, is not is not temporary, but final. . . .”

Below are brief excerpts taken from one of the most utilized and scholarly lexicons, Walter Bauer’s, A Greek English Lexicon of the New Testament (BDAG), which provides a most comprehensive analysis of aionios regarding the “everlasting” duration of both life and damnation (hell): “aion formulaically=eternal [Rev.] 14:11; 19:3; 20:10; 22:5. . . . aionios “without beginning or end; of God (Gen 21:33; Is 26:4). . . . Very often of God’s judgment [Jer 23:40; Da 12:2; Ps 76:6; Mt 18:8; 25:46; Mk 3:29; 2 Co 6:7; 2 Th 1:9; Jd 7]. . . . pert. to a period of unending duration, without end. . . .” (32-33). Therefore, besides the passages that clearly (from the context) denote a temporary significance (e.g., Rom. 16:25), the lexical support (e.g., Thayer; Louw and Nida; Liddell and Scott; BDAG, et al) for aionios as denoting eternal, endless duration is conclusive.

Is Universalism Biblical?

Short answer: No.

Long answer:

Universalism states that sooner or later all people will be saved. This position holds that the concepts of hell and punishment are inconsistent with a loving God.

The older form of universalism, originating in the second century, taught that salvation would come after a temporary period of punishment. The newer form of universalism declares that all men are now saved, though all do not realize it. Therefore the job of the preacher and the missionary is to tell people they are already saved. Certain passages--John 12:32, Philippians 2:11, and 1 Timothy 2:4--are typically twisted out of context in support of universalism.

Such passages, interpreted properly, do not support universalism:

John 12:32 says that Christ's work on the cross makes possible the salvation of both Jews and Gentiles. Notice, however, that the Lord--in the same passage--warned of judgment of those who reject Christ (v. 48).

Philippians 2:10-11 assures us that someday all people will acknowledge that Jesus is Lord, but not necessarily as Savior. (Even those in hell will have to acknowledge Christ's Lordship.)

First Timothy 2:4 expresses God's desire that all be saved, but does not promise that all will be. This divine desire is only realized in those who exercise faith in Christ.

The Scriptures consistently categorize people into one of two classes (saved/unsaved, also called believers/unbelievers), and portray the final destiny of every person as being one of two realities (heaven or hell).

In Matthew 13:30 Jesus in a parable said, "Let both [tares and wheat] grow together until the harvest. At that time I will tell the harvesters: First collect the weeds and tie them in bundles to be burned; then gather the wheat and bring it into my barn." Here unbelievers and believers are spoken of as tares and wheat. Two classes!

In Matthew 13:49 Jesus said, "This is how it will be at the end of the age. The angels will come and separate the wicked from the righteous." Again, two classes are mentioned--unbelievers and believers spoken of as the wicked and the righteous.

In Matthew 25:32 Jesus said that following His second coming, "All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats." Here believers and unbelievers are differentiated by the terms "sheep" and "goats." The sheep will enter into God's kingdom (vs. 34) and inherit eternal life (vs. 46). The goats go into eternal punishment (vs. 46).

In Luke 16:26 we find Abraham in the afterlife telling the unsaved rich man: "Between us and you a great chasm has been fixed, so that those who want to go from here to you cannot, nor can anyone cross over from there to us." Hades apparently had two compartments: "paradise" for the saved, and "torments" for the unsaved--and these compartments were separated by a great chasm or gulf.

Clearly, then, the Scriptures speak of two classes of people (the saved and the unsaved) and two possible destinies (heaven for the saved; hell for the unsaved). And each respective person ends up in one of these places based upon whether or not he or she placed saving faith in Christ during his or her time on earth (Acts 16:31).

grizzy Hi Goddrunk,

That's a good post. Perhaps you could post it on my Rapture thread. There seem to be quite a few idiots over there who might benefit. LOL
Zec 12:3 And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.
Psa 9:17 The wicked shall be turned into hell, [and] all the nations that forget God.
Jer 6:2 I have likened the daughter of Zion to a comely and delicate [woman].

Re: Delusional people who don't think hell is an eternal place of punishment.
its not delusional when you consider that the ponderous of evidence from the bible that paints a different picture than that has been passed down either by pagan teaching entering the church (like eternal soul) or culture. when u study that subject in a exegetical manner and as whole you find the meaning of hell in many christian minds is a misconception brought about by ignorance of the original text (greek for instance), ignorance about the culture during the time of the text written and ignorance of history. Now in the past when there were no computers, internet or strong concordance then people just had to rely on pastors. now though there is no excuse.

i believe the ponderous of evidence shows that the bible teaches that we dont have an eternal soul..we are not immortal. It show that when people die in the fire that God is going to use for his punishiment will be consumed not there roasting for eternity. that would make them immortal and not dead since theyre still alive feeling pain, emotions and being self aware

Bible Clear--Wicked Obliterated
The Bible says the wicked suffer "death" (Romans 6:23), will suffer "destruction" (Job 21:30), "shall perish" (Psalms 37:20), will "burn" up (Malachi 4:1), "shall be destroyed together" (Psalms 37:38), will "consume away" (Psalms 37:20), "shall be cut off" (Psalms 37:9), "shall be slain" (Psalms 62:3). God will "destroy" them (Psalms 145:20), and "fire shall devour them" (Psalms 21:9). Note that all of these references make it clear that the wicked die and are destroyed. They do not live forever in misery.

"Behold, they shall be as stubble; the fire shall burn them; they shall not deliver themselves from the power of the flame: there shall not be a coal to warm at, nor fire to sit before it." Isaiah 47:14. "And I saw a new heaven and a new earth." "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away." Revelation 21:1, 4.

Answer: Yes, indeed, the Bible specifically teaches that hellfire will go out and that there will not be left "a coal to warm at, nor fire to sit before it." The Bible also teaches that in God's new kingdom all "former things" will be passed away. Hell, being one of the former things, is included, so we have God's promise that it will be abolished.

"It is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell." Matthew 5:30. "Rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell." Matthew 10:28. "The soul that sinneth, it shall die." Ezekiel 18:20.

notice it says destroyed. if someone is in hell forever he is obviously not being destroyed.

most of the words of "hell" in the bible means hades which means grave.

IN THE OLD TESTAMENT
31 times from "Sheol," which means "the grave."

IN THE NEW TESTAMENT
10 times from "Hades," which means "the grave."
12 times from "Gehenna," which means "the place of burning."
1 time from "Tartarus," which means "a place of darkness."
54 TIMES TOTAL

Note: The Greek word "Gehenna" (mentioned above) is a transliteration of the Hebrew "Ge-Hinnom," which means the "Valley of Hinnom." This valley, which lies immediately south and west of Jerusalem, was a place where dead animals, garbage, and other refuse were dumped. Fire burned constantly, as it does at modern sanitation dump sites. The Bible uses "Gehenna" or the "Valley of Hinnom" as a symbol of the fire that will destroy the lost at the end of time. The fire of Gehenna was not unending. Otherwise it would be still burning southwest of Jerusalem today. Neither will the fire of hell be unending.

Then why does the Bible say that the wicked will be destroyed with unquenchable fire? (Jeremiah 17:27 )

Unquenchable fire is fire that cannot be put out, but which goes out when it has turned everything to ashes. Jeremiah 17:27 says Jerusalem was to be destroyed with unquenchable fire, and in 2 Chronicles 36:19-21 the Bible says this fire burned the city "to fulfill the word of the Lord by the mouth of Jeremiah" and left it desolate. Yet we know this fire went out, because Jerusalem is not burning today.

3. Doesn't Matthew 25:46 say the wicked will receive "everlasting punishment"? (Matthew 25:46 )

Notice the word is punishment, not punishing. Punishing would be continuous, while punishment is one act. The punishment of the wicked is death, and this death is everlasting.

Matthew 25:41 speaks of "everlasting fire" for the wicked. Does it go out? (2 Peter 2:6 )

Yes, according to the Bible, it does. We must let the Bible explain itself. Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed with everlasting, or eternal, fire (Jude 7), and that fire turned them "into ashes" as a warning to "those that after should live ungodly." 2 Peter 2:6. These cities are not burning today. The fire went out after everything was burned up. Likewise, everlasting fire will go out after it has turned the wicked to ashes (Malachi 4:3). The effects of the fire are everlasting, but not the burning itself.

But the Bible speaks of the wicked being tormented "forever," doesn't it? (Revelation 14:11 )

The term "for ever," as used in the Bible, means simply a period of time, limited or unlimited. It is used 56 times in the Bible in connection with things that have already ended. (To check in a concordance, look up the word "ever.") It is like the word "tall," which means something different in describing men, trees, or mountains. In Jonah 2:6, "for ever" means "three days and nights." (See also Jonah 1:17.) In Deuteronomy 23:3, this means "10 generations." In the case of man, this means "as long as he lives" or "until death." (See 1 Samuel 1:22, 28; Exodus 21:6; Psalms 48:14.) So the wicked will burn in the fire as long as they live, or until death. This fiery punishment for sin will vary according to the degree of sins for each individual, but after the punishment, the fire will go out. The teaching of eternal torment has done more to drive people to atheism and insanity than any other invention of the devil. It is slander upon the loving character of a tender, gracious heavenly Father and has done untold harm to the Christian cause..

Have you been there Goddrunk?

I have a few times and the last Pope was correct heaven and hell are within.

I prefer the Kingdom of God these days.

Hell

Sheol is the Hebrew language word denoting the "abode of the dead"; the "underworld", "the common grave of mankind" or "pit". It is also transliterated Sheh-ole, in Strong's Hebrew and Greek Dictionaries and Strong's Concordances. I did do some research on this time ago and it showed the root word also came from ‘dung heap’ which is where some bodies were thrown.

[link to en.wikipedia.org]

a. Deuteronomy 32:22 Hebrew to Sheol

The word has been derived from a number of roots. The two main probable origins seem to be those from the Assyrian root sha'al ("to consult an oracle") and shilu ("chamber"). The latter derivation seems somewhat more in accordance with the synonym of pit.

According to Eth. Enoch 22 (1-14), Sheol was divided into four sections, intended respectively for the martyrs, the righteous who were not martyrs, sinners who had lived prosperously, and sinners who had been to some degree punished. The situation in these sections varied from extreme bliss in the first case to loss of all hope of the resurrection in the fourth. The souls in the third division were to be 'slain' in the day of judgment, but the meaning of this is unclear. Nor is it all clear that the fourfold division was commonly held. The twofold division into the abode of the blessed and the abode of those suffering punishment seems to be more generally held. At the resurrection, which preceded the judgment, it was believed, at least by those under the influence of Pharisaism, that the righteous shades would arise from Sheol, and, after receiving new bodies, ascend to heaven.

[link to www.pantheon.org]

Why do people seek out an oracle when they are in the pit? To give them a lantern of the light of hope so that they can see their way out of the earthly reality that they find themselves in. In my own case I fell upon a book told me that I could heal my life and that was the light of hope that was required. After I took the step to seek within and made a conscious decision to heal the Jesus Christ and his mother led me to all of the right places and people for divine purpose.

Now the bible talks about the dead rising out of their graves and this pertains to those that are spiritually dead e.g. they have not woken up or are awakened. Most orthodox Christians fit into this category because they have not taught their souls to fly out of material reality e.g. they are still attached to a book and materialism.

On 28th July 1999 Pope John Paul II stated that hell is not a place, but rather, a state of being. He said that it is the result of having separated yourself from God, who is the source of all life and joy.

HEAVEN, HELL AND PURGATORY
Pope John Paul II

In three controversial Wednesday Audiences, Pope John Paul II pointed out that the essential characteristic of heaven, hell or purgatory is that they are states of being of a spirit (angel/demon) or human soul, rather than places, as commonly perceived and represented in human language. This language of place is, according to the Pope, inadequate to describe the realities involved, since it is tied to the temporal order in which this world and we exist. In this he is applying the philosophical categories used by the Church in her theology and saying what St. Thomas Aquinas said long before him.

If we look at the ancient pictographs of the Hebrew language the word for 'burn' is a picture of a wall representing the outside; it consisted of a picture of a man and wall. Combined they mean outside man, heat of anger, parched place, strongs 2787

Burning = fierce heat, strongs 2750

Fierce, wrath, fury, displeasure, strongs 2740

I propose to you that when man is angry, wrathful and in fury, humans create a wall between themselves and God, a wall between themselves and the heaven within. Giving the children to burn for Molech was giving the children to religion, because religion creates a wall of separation, religious people are unbelievers because they are prepared to kill for their religion and to maintain the separation.

If we then look at grave what do we find.

Sink = co: Pit.The pictograph is a picture of teeth representing sharpness, the next symbol is the wall. Combined they mean 'sharp walls' A Pit dug into the ground for the purpose of trapping someone or something. To go down and sink as going into a pit. To bring down low strongs 7817 Like trapping an animal.......

Pit = A hole in the ground such as a grave, corruption, pit, destruction. Strongs 7845

= Disease strongs 7822

Grave = The act and place of burying the dead comes from the root of gathering one of the forefathers in a cavity. A cavity in a wall...

Destroy = A destruction by being cut of, made short by cutting. strongs 6986 and 6987.

Kill= A cutting off by killing, made short by cutting... strongs

Where do we dig pits? In the earth on planet earth....

Islam/Christianity is digging its own pits with its fury, anger and wrath, it is burning and tormenting their own souls here and now. Anyone who is angry cuts themself off from heaven and from the Spirit of God. Anger disempowers the soul and vexes the Spirit of God. For the soul requires an inner sanctum of peace to reach its fullest potential.

The pit is a state of being and people dig their own pits with their own fury, they lay their trap for the wounded animal/child within, the light of hope goes out and they become spiritually dead in their graves, they are unbelievers in all that is good.

Where does the word religion come from? The root of the word is the Latin verb ligo, comes religo, to tie or bind, from religo, comes the substantive religo, the addition of n makes the English substantive religion. Jesus said that the blind men of religion lead you into the pit and put heavy loads upon your shoulders, loads that are too heavy to carry. Religion cuts people off, separates, divides, binds you to the earthly realm and keeps in you in the never ending cycles.

Heaven is also a state of being...but it is the path of love and of no return to the old way of being. To awaken from slumber and the death of the grave. We now know that anger is the biggest predictor of heart diseased and many religious people have diseased hearts, they have created a wall of separation that stops them experiencing heaven on earth. The fires of desire is the cause of the greatest pain and suffering as we witness now on planet earth.

The most rigid believers are actually the unbelievers....

People who are lost in the illusion of their own pit of self created hell on earth. However, out of darkness the light can come if one has the intelligence to seek within and heal any anger and darkness that resides. On the rite of passage it is called ‘Transmutation of the Cosmic Fire,’ the burning of the last dross before transmigration of your soul, e.g. your soul migrating from one state of being to another and the dying of the old self. However, sadly, like most of these ancient mystery teachings of the initiations that we experience, the orthodox fathers took the line of misery and negativity instead of showing people its use as a purification rite of passage. e.g. finding the silver cloud in every dark cloud.

To truly know God there must be balance in one's life, and anger, fury and wrath can take one out of balance. Physical reality is the barometer of balance -v- imbalance, the earthly realm and our physical being shows us all that we are required to heal. Every word we speak, every thought we have, every deed we do, shows us who we are and whether we are coming from the light or darkness, whether we are being good or less good....

Dross n 1: worthless material that should be removed; "there were impurities in the water" [syn: impurity]

2: the scum formed by oxidation at the surface of molten metals
[syn: slag, scoria]

dross - Easton's 1897 Bible Dictionary :

Dross the impurities of silver separated from the one in the process of melting (Prov. 25:4; 26:23; Ps. 119:119). It is also used to denote the base metal itself, probably before it is smelted, in Isa. 1:22, 25.

Proverb 25 2-5

It is the glory of God to conceal the matter; to search out a matter is the glory of Kings. As the heavens are high and the earth is deep, so the hearts of Kings are unsearchable. Remove the dross from the silver, and out comes material for the silversmith; remove the wicked from the Kings presence and his throne will be established through righteousness’

Proverb 26 23-28

Like a coating of glaze over earthenware are fervent lips with an evil heart. A malicious man disguises himself with his lips, but his heart harbours deceit. Through his speech is charming, do not believe him, for seven abominations fill his heart. His malice may be concealed by deception but his wickedness will be exposed in the assembly. If a man digs a pit he will fall into it; if a man rolls a stone, it will roll back to him. A lying tongue hates those hurts, and a flattering mouth works ruin.

Ps 119:119

All the wicked of the earth you discard like dross.

Isaiah

‘Your silver has become dross, your choice wine is diluted with water’. ‘I will turn my hand against you, I will thoroughly purge away your dross and remove all of your impurities’ 1:22-25

Both will burn together, with no-one to quench the fire”, 1:35

5. Ezekiel 22:18
"Son of man, the house of Israel has become dross to me; all of them are the copper, tin, iron and lead left inside a furnace. They are but the dross of silver.
Ezekiel 22:17-19 (in Context) Ezekiel 22 (Whole Chapter)

6. Ezekiel 22:19
Therefore this is what the Sovereign LORD says: 'Because you have all become dross, I will gather you into Jerusalem.
Ezekiel 22:18-20 (in Context) Ezekiel 22 (Whole Chapter)

Now ask yourself OP why the USA is going through the great purging of the dross? Why it is burning in its own creation. Why it is being crucified?

How long do you and your country wish to be in the pit OP?

Re: Delusional people who don't think hell is an eternal place of punishment.
We DO have an eternal soul. The complete obliteration of the unbelievers
soul IS NOT a testimony to the Heavenly Father's "mercy" it is just the
opposite. After enduring the punishment of hell which could be hundreds,
thousands, however many years, God is so fed up with them , knowing
even HELL can't motivate them to repent, they prove they DON'T EVEN
DESERVE THE GIFT OF LIFE. THAT- is what God is saying by his actions.
The saved will exist forever with him in heaven. The unsaved- destroyed.

For the sake of a person's day to day peace and sanity is their motivation
for rejecting the doctrine of hell. For the majority of humanity it is just
simply too monstrous a concept to believe in, so it therefore just can't be.
No such thing as making peace with going to hell, even the Devil himself.
Why do you think he won't stop rebelling? He truly believes he can,and
needs to for his own sake, defeat God and stop his destiny.
INSANE ? Yes, but so is expecting anyone ,angel or human, to believe
in hell and at the same time understand they possess the very arrogance
in their hearts that qualifies one to go there according to God's judgement.

Well. Look at how nice all the "Christians" are today.

Calling people names and making fun of them. Do you actually think Jesus Christ did this? If this is how you act - then how in the world can you honestly consider yourselves Christ-like?

Ya'all need to stop condemning people you don't know. Christ would never have done that. In fact he traveled to other countries and learn about their spiritual beliefs. He didn't diss - their beliefs. He did share his beliefs - but without being a cruel judgemental fuck.

You are not Christians. Keep feeding yourself the delusion - but you are in no way Christ-like.

Re: Delusional people who don't think hell is an eternal place of punishment.
There is a book of stories compiled by different pastors from way back when (1800's, 1900's, etc)...it has been a long time since I've read it but it was on a christian website. Someone compiled various stories of these pastor's accounts of sitting by believers and unbeliever's
bedsides...it was fasinating to read. Even teenage children who rejected God and mocked ended up screaming and
said they saw demons. It was disturbing to read the unbelievers' experiences. There were accounts of people who, even on their death bed--refused to accept Jesus Christ when implored by their pastors...some stubbornly refused even though there was still time...some were anguished and said it was too late for them and they were weeping with regret. The ones that could see angels and such--it was quite a different account. The looks on their faces, the peacefulness...I read literally hundreds of accounts from different places and times...some are short accounts...some are long accounts. It was really something. All age groups...the young children--some of those stories were the best. And the older people too who were believers.

Re: Delusional people who don't think hell is an eternal place of punishment.
Sixteen hundred years ago the Christian Church was organized with the purpose of presenting the old heathen mythological, theological, allegorical and priestly deceptions of all the preceding religions, in a new disguise, which should forever hold the human soul in priestly thralldom [held in bondage; intellectually or morally enslaved], and the human mind in the leading strings of the impious hands of priests. So well did these priestly schemers profit by the experiences of their great and truly wise and benevolent predecessors, that they managed to organize a system of suppressing inquiry, and perpetuating human ignorance, such as the world had never before known, and such as it will never know again in all the coming ages.

During the past sixteen hundred years, the Christian church has been sending to spirit life, thousands of millions of ignorant and bigoted spirits whose whole desire and aim has been to perpetuate the ignorance which governed and controlled them while on earth. These being the latest and most active in the promotion of sectarian bigotry [fraudulent, narrow minded teachings] on entering spirit life, have remained near the earth plane, and have operated as an almost impassable barrier to the return of the older, less selfish, and more advanced ancient spirits, who sought to inform mortals of the truths of the after life

Christian religions of today, would have never met with the success they have if the myth of Jesus of Nazareth, had been revealed to the people and in its place they would have the true teachings and adventures of Apollonius of Tyana, who was never crucified on the cross, dying for the sins of mankind. If that was the case, today the people would have had a substantial knowledge to relate to, while now the Christians and the people of planet earth have none, and therefore they throw themselves open to the opposition of materialists and the destruction of the Spirit speaking through man, not religions speaking to man with their falsified, not true teachings. What a shame!

Please don't be one of those blind believers, especially since you personally never took the time to investigate what you are now worshipping and serving. Accepting on blind faith any belief system from a religion or another preacher, without investigation, is not intelligence, but it is very dangerous. Disconnect yourself from such falseness and fantasy.

Consequently, the story of Jesus goes something like this. There were 2 times when the fabled Jesus disappeared when the people were oppressive on him. Later the same Jesus allowed himself to be scourged and crucified on the cross. After 3 days Jesus rose from the dead, and after 40 days he ascended into heaven.

Big deal, Jesus ascended into heaven and left all mankind holding the empty bag. What empty bag? The empty bag of leaving all mankind uninformed how to do the same as he did, which is! In the Bible it states: what I have done, you will do the same, and greater things you shall do than I. Do what?

So did Jesus fulfilled his prediction of the above words? Did Jesus die for all the sins of mankind? Did he? If he did, how is it that the mortal death is still present in every woman and man on earth? In the Bible it states that it was the 1st original sin that brought on the mortal death.

Now considering that if the fabricated man Jesus was the only begotten son of God and very intelligent in knowing everything, including the situation about the unforgiving 1st original sin to any woman or man unless you overcome the enmity, which brought on the 1st death, would it be intelligently wise to allow himself to be crucified, knowing that the crucifixion would not accomplish the purpose of removing the 1st original sin? Also if Jesus was that all knowing, why didn't he disappear before his scourging and crucifixion? Also if Jesus died for all the sins of mankind, why do the Christians go to confessions?

No man can die for you or anyone, thus remove the 1st original sin that brought on the mortal death to all mankind. Also if you research the before Jesus renditions of man dying to appease a God for the sins, you will find that there were about 25 or more individuals that died for the sins of all mankind. The story of Jesus was plagiarized or stolen from previous religions, from the Library of Alexandria, thousands of years before the false, erroneous Jesus. Refer to Exposure 1 on this website and you will know what happened in 680 AD at the Sixth AEcumenical Council in the Christian Church.

Now use your valuable God given intellect, your power of reasoning, which will tell you that someone is telling you a big fat lie and you have been deceived, victimize and lead astray for the last 2,000 years. Don't you think that it is time to wake up to reality?

OP.

You were born into this world without any knowledge of Christianity.

And you were born unto this world in a particular geographical location on Earth, that I would assume, harbored the Christian faith.

Have you ever considered the billions of people who were born into this world, over the course of time, who had absolutely zero exposure to Christianity?

All your life you were indoctrinated into your faith, by other people.

Did you ever challenge them?

Is it easier to stick to the teachings of one book, then it is to seek the wisdom found in other cultures?

It's funny because science suffers from the same affliction.

Unwilling to rewrite the books because it would be too much work.

Sure OP, there is a feeling of safety in numbers.

But you may end up fooling yourself.

Did any of the world religions ever teach you that you created an enmity in yourself? Did you know that there is an enmity between your seed and her seed? Who is her seed? The inference to her seed is mother nature, the counterpart of you, the antimatter seed, the psychophysical Christ lunar germ seed of immortality, which you shall have to lie in wait for his heel. Did any of the world religions ever teach you that you shall have to lie in wait for the heel? No, because none of the world religions have the key to the sacred knowledge. So why do you need religions? For what? To lead you astray and death? You don't need religions to lead you astray and to the grave. You have been doing this yourself without any help from anyone and with an ugly side effect, the guilt complex that you are a sinner and Jesus died for your sins on the cross!
