hey, GLP programmers... what is the possibility... someday... maybe... that users could have a FILTER OUT and FILTER IN field in their profile?
for example, if I only wanted to see thread subjects with the word "DOOM and SOLAR" in them (FILTER_IN="DOOM AND SOLAR"), or, if I didn't want to see thread subjects with the word "TRIBULATION or JESUS or BIBLE" in them (FILTER_OUT="TRIBULATION OR JESUS OR BIBLE").
If you made this relatively easy-to-implement feature only available to paying members you'd probably see your membership JUMP! AND it would radically cut down on the flame wars between the "Jesus Is Coming" crowd and the "You're all mindless sheeple" crowd. it's win/win... you get more money, user get less crap, and the board stays cleaner!

bible
anti-christ
ufo
2012
god
prophecy
etc etc
You'd be surprised how useful the non-religious and wayyyy out there threads on here are.
That's the only problem with conspiracy websites. There fully loaded with biblical prophetical or new-age crap directly or indirectly that take away from legitimate arguments, info, and debates. |

I'm looking at existing greasemonkey filtering scripts to see if I can find something similar to what op is talking about. My programming skills aren't way up there but if I find something I'll post it.

well, by that logic GLP should get rid of TOPICS and, for that matter SEARCH. in fact, why not just dump all information into one huge page? You can use your "eyes" to "read" only what you want.
