So I met a terrorist wannabe at work today

I went into work today, not all that happy about being there to be honest, but happy that I still have a job. My job has a lot of people coming in and doing business. It is medical related so I have HIPPA to consider.

An employee came to me and tells me that this kid (if I could have given birth to him without being a slut, to me he's a child) has a terrorist magazine and she is offended. Would I please make him get rid of it?

I work for a German company and they wont do business with anyone who has a swastika tattoo, or gang tattoos etc. I call the kid in my office and ask him if I can see the magazine. He shows it to me and as I am looking at it I realize it is in English and strongly advocating suicide bombings and jihad. I explain to him that some people may find it offensive so would he please put it in his backpack while in the building.

He explains to me he is an OSU student, he knows his rights and has freedom of speech. I started laughing which offended him I think.I thought of GLP and I explained to him that I am for free speech more than most of my co workers but this is a private company and he can't have this out in the open for his protection as well as anyone else. That someone may be offended enough to start a fight and I'd rather not go there.

He tells me that I can't require him to put the magazine away. I explain he is welcome to freedom of speech but we have the right to refuse to do business with him. He puts the magazine away.

What ran a chill down my spine was his attitude. He is not a first or second generation immigrant. No accent, he is American. He told me that in the end the Muslims will win and America will be on it's knees. I replied with well we aren't on our knees today and if I have to have the conversation with you again I will defer you. He left my office.

I really wonder how many born and bred Americans actually have the attitudes he does. I am hoping it isn't that many. When you think about it, that type of terrorist would be far more dangerous. He knows America, knows our culture, our systems and is college educated in America. Scary shit.
