They acted in obedience to God. God has the right to rid the world of evil and wickedness.
They did not choose to kill anyone from evil motives proceeding out from their own heart.
There is a difference.
The point of the matter is "THEY", I do not believe God needs any help ridding the world of evil, nor does he contradicts himself either.

Jesus didn't have to come to earth and die on a cross for us either.

God gave Moses restrictions on the Sabbath not other days, and although I agree with you that everyday we should live righteously God specifies that the Sabbath is Holy and a COMMANDMENT has gone forth respecting this day.

I became a Christian at age 17 or 18, that was 30 years ago. It is real, and it changed my life, kept me out of trouble more times than I can count.
I have had angelic interventions that protected me - believe it or not
but i dont really want to go into that too much

Worthy is the Lamb to open the Book..and He has sent the Spirit of Truth to guide you in all things. We are indeed living stones, shaped, formed and fitted together to be the Temple of God by the quickened Word of God.
...I do not like views that over emphasise the symbolic over the physical representation or part.
As Jesus entered Jerusalem on a donkey, truth comes cloaked in humility. Many who say that they can see, camp out with the revelation they have.
Others are hungry for the food of life that are the deep teachings of scripture. The Lord has prepared for them a table in the midst of their enemies. Perhaps one who has been given the heart of the teacher is to be paired with one who has been given the gift of understanding. Surely such wise men can bring their gifts to the Bethlehems of this present age where Christ is being born in the believers. |

Actually if you research Daniel you will find the Magi there as their astrologers is your answer.
Daniel was very close to God and proved the reality of His existence to a pagan culture.
This included prophecies and the knowledge of the future coming of the Messiah.
There is a prophecy called "Daniels 7 Weeks" that pinpoints Jesus' ministry and death.
This one prophecy is what jump started the Church, which was all Jews until the Ethiopian began the "Times of the Gentiles".
What is sad is that the pagan "looking for Jesus, which implies a saving faith" were more in touch with prophecy than the ones He came for. They were trained by Daniel and were witnesses of the miracles during his lifetime.

I don't agree. Because the verse states that some of them standing there, right then, would not taste of death.
Jesus wasn't speaking about His second coming when He spoke those words.

Luk 9:27 But I tell you of a truth, there be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the kingdom of God.

I don't agree. Because the verse states that some of them standing there, right then, would not taste of death.
Jesus wasn't speaking about His second coming when He spoke those words.
Mat 16:28 Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.
Luk 9:27 But I tell you of a truth, there be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the kingdom of God.
Luk 17:21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.
It happened the day of Pentecost when the Holy Spirit began indwelling believers.
What does this mean? Can you explain your reply rationally, please?
What you have said could be translated that the kingdom of GOD is here already. I hope you are not delusional enough to believe that what we are experiencing through-out the world is of the KINGDOM.
Amen the kingdom of God is inside every born again christian, the Power of God in you will soon be released as we draw closer to the Final trumpet. Jesus bride will wake from her slumber soon. Read Revelation 6:12-17 |

If you all want to refer to what Jesus called "those standing here" as the bride, fine, we call call those individuals standing there on that day listening to Jesus as the bride.
-- Who are those individuals (the bride)?
-- Are they still standing here today 2 thousand years later waiting for the kingdom of God to come with power?

The kingdom of GOD is ushered in by the Son of Man, therewith, when Jesus said; "there are some who will not taste death before they see the kingdom of GOD come with Power" is that some would witness the Son of Man.
-- How will we know when the Son of Man arrives?
Matthew.25:[31]"When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit upon his glorious throne, [32] and all the nations will be assembled before him.
Obviously this hasn't occurred, yet!

If you don't know the answer, it could only mean that you don't understand the scriptures and are not the enlightened one. Don't fret, there will come one who is, and when he does, don't do like the Romans did and crucify him, learn from the past, lest you repeat it over again.
