I saw a strange light in the northern sky as I left a relatives house in the North West suburbs of Detroit this evening around 9 pm. At first, I thought it was an airplane on its approach to Det Met Airport which would not be unusual. The unusual part was the light did not MOVE it just seemed to hang there motionless. Its position in relation to the other stars visible seemed to indicate that this was much closer to the horizon and perhaps not one of them. Weird.
