Unfortunately where I am the sky is covered with a very eerie foggy cloud and has been in the evening for a couple of days...
Its as if the curtain has come down on the show... looking forward to seeing the cosmos again and our neighbours in the sky.

Im staring at this thing right now west palm beach florida its pulsing and has a very odd shape it doesnt look like its moving but definetly weird i was barely looking at the sky and it caught my eye.

Holy Crap!!!! I live on the Jersey Shore and I was walking home from work tonight at around 10:35pm when I noticed a strange light formation in the sky. It was boomerang shaped with green and white lights at first and it was about a hundred or so yards in front of me. I started waliking towards it to get a better look and the lights changed formation to a circular shape and red and blue lights joined the green and white. IT WAS AWESOME!! I was right under it. It hovered there for like 2 minutes and then slowly started to head in the direction of the ocean which we were only 2 blocks from. I started running after it and watched it fly over the water and then just disappear!!

I saw the lights about 7:55pm on Monday evening, just a few hours ago, not sure what they were either. I am a bit of an amature astronomer so I know the stars fairly well. The way they faded out was not a common event. I am anxious to hear the official explanation.

These lights sound like atmospheric plasma discharges. We are supposed to be seeing more of these as we enter the "local fluff."

I just saw a irregular piece of the sun! But the sun had already set! I'm in overland park kansas and saw this thing and as I watched it it simply just shrank into nothing and vanished! WhAt the fuck did I just see it was brilliant in color almost metallic like a irregular piece of the sun.. Fuckin weird man

Oh my god....I just saw 5 minutes ago what I thought to be the moon. I was smoking a cigarette out the window and thought how pretty and yellow the moon looked. It was so pretty, it was perfectly round. And then it started moving, and I thought that was weird because the moon doesn't move like that. Then it just started turning into a cloud and losing it's shape. Then it just started disappearing until it was gone. What the heck was that. I'm freaking out!!! WOW.

im in toms river,nj and saw the same thing south east in the sky around 330am.

My cousin JUST described the same thing to me an hour ago! she is in Louisiana...was freaking out on facebook about these orange lights and one being as big as the "moon".....i seen you said sun! I googled and it and seems these orange lights are being seen all over the world nightly between 8-1030pm...most of the time 3...but other reports have 2 to 5 in the sky at once. some sitting still...some moving...some moving oddly...some stopping and taking off again after a long time of sitting there burning like a chinese lantern etc. my cousin said hers came across the sky....stopped for a good 5 min...sat burning, they thought maybe a plane caught fire in the air and hence why there would be so many flames burning as big as the "moon" up in the sky. then she said it disappeared as if it never existed. INTERESTING! i totally believed her before but after reading SO many reports...something is clearly happening! and its happening....DAILY! OR "NIGHTLY" I SHOULD SAY!

at about 6:15 tuesday evening, from in front of my house looking over the bay toward staten island and new jersey from bay ridge brooklyn, I saw a flash of light on the horizin in the west in the shape of the top of a half circle, a blue light with a green halo aroud it. then about 3 seconds later it happened again, then nothing. did anyone else see the colors of the light? what was it?

Yes my boyfriend and I where on the way towards Altoona from Renova and he pulled over because we saw the exact same thing as you. We could not figure out what it was. No plane,hot air ballon or helicopter looks like that. It looked like something burning up except it was moving to slow. Wierd.
