It amazes me how the religious nutters will stoop to all sorts of deceit and cheap tricks to try and peddle their trash.

Just amazing.

And then they think that their actions are "holy".

Irony needs intelligence to understand it, I guess.

LOL, because people are not perfect you're willing to give up a chance at salvation? Don't presume to be intelligent, you are not the judge.
 Quoting: Bugeater

Oh, but I am the judge.

I judge you because I know better than you.

Are you stuck in mental chains and I am a free thinker.

You are, to be blunt. Wrong.

Atheism violates Newton's law of thermal dynamics. Nothing evolves up from nothing.
 Quoting: Anon 740244

I'm sure someone else posted this, but without checking, I'll just say that the Earth is not a closed system and assume that you understand how you're wrong.

Re: A surefire way to debunk atheism?
To me one of the most amazing wonders of the modern world is how, every time you drive your car, you are literally racing through hundreds of years of life in the section of wood or jungle that created that oil in the first place. We burn many 1000s of years every night when we cook on our ovens, turn on the lights, have a hot bath.

All that light, heat, motion in the car... it's all sunlight trapped by plants, captured into the ground over aeons with their natural oils, the bodies of animals, the leaves on the forest floor all turning to tiny drops of oil over time. An entire dinosaur would probably make, at best, a cup of oil.

Think about that. It's just awesome. And we just willy nilly burn it without even a moment's thought. We pull up to the petrol station, fill our car, pay for the fuel... and we don't even appreciate what we have just put in the tank. The millions and millions of years, the lives of countless animals big and small, forests that came and went... all on fast forward in the tank.

And what do we do?

We turn on the car, thinking of our little humdrum lives and that's all that's important to us. We have the cosmos at the accelerator pedal and yet, all that we care about is what's on our mind right then and there.

Amazing.

I would bet 90% or more "atheists" are actually just lazy and don't want to investigate the bible for themselves, in other words, they're destroyed for a lack of knowledge.
 Quoting: Bugeater

An atheist, who don't want to investigate that fairy tale book is far bigger in my eyes, than a religious one, who knows the bible by heart, yet don't want to aknowledge scientific progress.

These invisible friends believers always give me a good chuckle. I love the way that they take their beliefs and then try to speak about science, a subject that they know nothing about.

Funniest of all are the creationists on evolution. They are so ignorant of science that they don't even understand the term "theory" and think that it implies uncertainty!

Then they pack in a second line of "do you believe in evolution?". Believe? As in you believe your religion? That sort of belief?

I guess it shows the mindset of a person who is so divorced from the concepts of facts, research and logical deduction that they assumethese things to be on a par with a belief in myths and folklore.

If you had facts you wouldn't need "faith".

"Faith" is only required when you are desperately trying to cling to an opinion despite evidence against it, thereby turning your opinion into a belief.

"God" IS THE VOID, vaccum, or what is truly the ZERO POINT.
The ego of the atheist and religious fool alike cannot tollerate the silence that IS the true God, so they spend their lives making noise.

I'm afraid it's not christians who put their belief in a void. None of you have proven Jesus wrong, you just resort to lies about him.

Vacuum, like where atheist's get their morals? What's your favorite line, you can't legislate morality? Then stop judging people based on your morality. It's only god, that keeps me from killing everybody, otherwise, there's no basis for it being wrong.

Re: A surefire way to debunk atheism?
ok let's say we have an atheist who is suddenly willing to believe in a god. of course it's the one you worship that should be their pick. if they don't according to you they may of well have stayed an atheist... and even if the atheist did chose their god, the atheist would have to also chose their particular denomination to be considered saved or whatever.

in a nutshell that guy isn't someone trying to make people believe in the concept of a god. he's a person trying to make others believe in exactly what he believes.

The denomination doesn't matter, that's just separation over the politics of meanings. They should weigh the evidence that the bible presents, through history and fulfillment of prophecy. Test all faiths based on prophecy fulfillment.

'Nothing Created Everything' exposes scientific impossibility of evolution.

What is it about a California-based Christian evangelist from New Zealand that makes him irresistible to even the most sophisticated secularist?

Re: A surefire way to debunk atheism?
Without faith man cannot please God; for he who comes near to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of those who seek him.
Hebrews 11:6

Now regarding the phrase "Nothing Created Everything" ...
The athiest have the correct idea, they just come to the wrong conclusion.

For it is through faith we understand that the the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen came to be from those which are not seen.
Hebrews 11:3

"... from those which are not seen. " <-- NOTHING
"... came to be ..." <-- Created
"... things which are seen .." <-- EVERYTHING

Regarding "scientific impossibility" :
For nothing is impossible for God.
