It's called climate change, champ. The weather get's weird, not always just warmer.

It's not really out of the ordinary. I remember getting snow on Labor Day weekend in the mountains more than once.

Typical Colo. weather 85 yesterday, in the 40 to low 50 today...uggg not ready for winter!

have some hot chocolate ....my friends say it snowed in denver as early as labor day now and then..folks already got thier warm coats on at night.. .. ..at christmas we shop in a light sweaters or hoodie down south .

First of all, Global Warming doesn't mean that there won't be cold weather on a few days out of the year in a few locations. What it means is that when you look at the average global temperature each year there's an increase.

I've skied A-Basin on 4th of July too, but it wasn't fresh snow. I used to camp there on "the beach" every 4th.

I'm in Colorado Springs. No snow. Just wind, rain and thunder. A little on the cool side at 43 degrees.

You can ski here in Colorado year round!

The weather folks say we are going to have a 'La Nina' this season. But it looks like so far the storms are early. I can't remember a wetter, cloudier and colder fall here in a long while. Usually our fall in Summit County is very dry and have plentiful blue skies until October. But it rained off and on all weekend during Oktoberfest! Well the Pacific looks active to me...

I think the skiing will be good this year, so you all should head up this year to A-Basin, Copper etc and grab some freshies, soon!
