Well, it is the LATimes but at least this surely doesn't sound as though there are any plans for any forced anything.

I will be so glad when all this hype is over and this flu season is behind us!

Also would have to say this would not seem to express very much confidence in our government that is pushing for this vaccine in the first place.

swine flu is already all over the schools, doesnt seem to be killing very many people. most get sick for 3 days and are fine, I dont know one person who will take the vaccine unless forced.

From what I understand, though, they don't actually TEST to see if it's swine flu. If someone has the flu, they assume it's swine flu and tell them to stay home.

Re: Most parents won't have kids get H1N1 flu shots, study finds
I was told by someone at local health department that all the local flu is swine flu because the seasonal flu hasn't started here yet. No reported cases of any flu other than swine and we did have one death of eleven year old boy.

Not usual with seasonal flu but then by far most seem to recover without any major problems.

I think the only big deal is that this season we get two flus instead of one but other than that, don't see any reason for all the fuss.

People can and do get flu even after taking a vaccine. It's no guarantee.
