Three soldiers grabbing someone while a fourth (cop?) keeps the rest at AR-15 gunpoint? The suspect is sandwiched into an unmarked car and whisked away.

Incredible?

Camera does not lie. I am not speechless often but ... uh..

Re: >>> Is it me or is this a highly illegal G20 arrest?
The Posse Comitatus Act is a United States federal law (18 U.S.C. § 1385) passed on June 18, 1878, after the end of Reconstruction, with the intention (in concert with the Insurrection Act of 1807) of substantially limiting the powers of the federal government to use the military for law enforcement. The Act prohibits most members of the federal uniformed services (today the Army, Air Force, and State National Guard forces when such are called into federal service) from exercising nominally state law enforcement, police, or peace officer powers that maintain "law and order" on non-federal property (states and their counties and municipal divisions) within the United States.

The statute generally prohibits federal military personnel and units of the National Guard under federal authority from acting in a law enforcement capacity within the United States, except where expressly authorized by the Constitution or Congress.

Wow, that would be even worse...

Regardless what the kid did or said, the military or national guard has no jurisdiction with regards to law enforcement in the U.S. against citizens. None.

As far as I know.

I've watched it a few times on full screen to see what type of gun that was..The best I can tell is that it was a shootgun, I could be wrong, btw, alot LEOs don't carry AR15s anymore, they carry full battle M16 and M4 rifles.

Everyone keeps talking about posse comitatus??? WTF it's no diff with todays LEOs walking around in full body armor, and full auto weapons. Come on they are almost all ex-military, battle trained and hardened. They have APCs!!!

Come on this is a full police state. What will it take for people to realize it's here? When popo starts flying raptors w/ red and blue lightes on it. I'm gonna go ahead and shut up now, because I'm starting to freak myself out!

throwing bricks into 25 commercial bussineses windows cased being a protest and turned into a predictable riot .. settingfires in garbage cans and lauching trash cans at cops is not a peaceful protest .it is civilian acts of terror against civilian assets .

Thats how it looked to me.

However the youths just stood around, filming rather than trying to engage with the officers, and ask what offence had been commited.

They could have made something up in response. however no one did, they all just stood and watched.
This is the youth that may have to defend america one day.

It's also a little silly being on your own at a protest/riot anyway.

Always use the buddy system!

Re: >>> Is it me or is this a highly illegal G20 arrest?
There's no way it was the military, for several reasons.

First, the BDUs they're wearing have no markings. That leads me to believe they were bought on the open market.

Second, these guys have no idea what the fuck military tactics are. That was sloppy as hell.

Third, even if it were a military special op, there is no way they'd be wearing BDUs. Period.

Fourth, that was so non-covert it's ridiculous. It was obviously a play for publicity.

The official story per local news is that the guy had been vandalizing property and "Campus police" (in camo) "took him to a safe place." (Gitmo?)
