I'm not sure they are entirely immune. I knew one old spook who was all buggered up by 60yrs old. Could hardly walk his back and spine were so f$cked up from the kundalini fire he willed. If you ever see someone you suspect of being a witch who's got weird, major spine issues, it's likely due to them playing with that kundalini fire. He also had these bite-mark looking things on his body messing with that magic (he said something about them in the Bible, a bite from a fire bug?). --- But, they likely are given a certain degree of reign here on Earth. This is currently the devil's playground, right?
