Free speech is not dead.

There have always been side rules to the freedom of speech. For instance one can not walk into a crowded theater and scream "fire" if there is no fire. The resulting panic could maim or kill people.

Inciting riots, suggesting or even hinting at assassination of a public figure is illegal. HOW one couches the question is important. What what is suggesting when they make a statement also impacts the legality of the 'speech'.

You never had free speech as far as the POTUS is concerned. Any public reference to killing is construed as a threat. This has not changed and never will. How do you know whether the FBI should consider it a "serious" threat or not? Do you personally know the person who put up the poll? Talk about poor judgement...

Give me free speech any day.... but calling for Obama to be killed is way too much, stupid and irresponsible....... I want peace and him arrested along with his cronnies....
