I knew the 'current' was radical the minute he reared his head...In the 60s most parents were married and stayed married-in this country...Islam was MINIMAL...communism was minimal...single mothers rare...and women who went outside their race-well, they were treated POORLY-bi racial dating happened but RARELY and those who were in relationships like that then stayed hidden for the most part-times were still hard on different races-I saw brutality against caucasians then as well-racism was not as intense in the 50s and 60s as there was more in the 30s and 40s...In the 70s it gained fervor again in the NE area with segregation and busing.

What really infuriates me is that so many people are stuck on this "socialism" nonsense. We are not dealing with socialism! We are dealing with fascism in the purest form. Pure corporate fascism. Big difference.

For one thing, according to the OECD, the USA is 2nd only to Mexico as far as division between the rich and poor. Before George W. BUsh, we were 3rd behind Turkey and Mexico. Socialist countries like New Zealand, Sweden, Finland, France, and Norway have actually improved since the 1990's. The pay difference in those countries between CEO's and the blue collar workers is about 40x. In the USA it is 400-550 x greater!

I guess Andy missed the Sept. 2008 Emergency Economic Stabilization Act that gave taxpayer money to banks under W.....nah, that's not socialism.......

Everybody who rants against "socialism" needs to hire their own personal police force, drive only on toll roads, pay back their public school education, get out of Social Security and Medicaid, hire their own firefighters, etc.

Your specious post about UTILITIES and PUBLIC roads being socialist are a tired old argument; these are bonds that are voted on locally and agreed to by taxpayers. I pay my local and state taxes for roads via my real estate taxes and sales taxes on the items I buy.

Yeah, you guys forgot the "national" in National Socialism! Look at who Obama has as his advisors - all the scummy Wall St A-holes who sucked America dry in the first place. "Change" means instead of being outside the government, now they ARE the government. And just so you don't get me wrong, when Obama was elected I actually thought "finally, a black president, it's about time." Here was a guy who kept his cool and seemed to take the high road even when naked pics of his mom were posted on the internet before the election. He was articulate, seemed intelligent and genuine. When he announced his cabinet and advisors, I nearly upchucked. What he is leading you towards is NATIONAL SOCIALISM (= NAZIS), not socialism. You have been sold out to mega-corporations who don't give a flying f--k if you live or die. And don't think I'm happy to say this, I actually wanted to see America heal itself and return to the values that made it great.....To all the real patriots out there, who really love their country, good luck to you all and may God protect you.
