I have read some but don't see the reason for male over females to have been used.

Is there a reason, and if so what?

Thanks for that AC and I had understood the King' bit, but my question is more why was in King rater than Queen?

Was there a period where Queen's ruled that has been 'forgotten', [mabe at Nicaea], from the scriptures for some reason?

If you think males tried to dominate females now, you should have lived back then.

Funny isn't it since you can't be a true jew unless through your mother's line.

I Tim 2:13-14 - For Adam was first formed, then Eve. And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.

Why? Someone needs to be head, and by virtue of creation it fell on Adam. God is very orderly in everything he does.
