Can't the innocent be considered smart? Perhaps they can not imagine that another species would be so immensely cruel to do what we do to them. There is no reason for it. So you expect these innocent creatures to think of one? Perhaps given time they would get wise to it. But its hard when there are no survivors to go tell the other dolphins the horror of whats happening. Maybe you think they should be able to get on their cell phones to call their cousins and aunts to tell them what happened?
