Dark matter may be going the way of the dodo.

I have to admit, I've been a supporter of the dark matter theories. They explained pretty much everything about the velocity curves of the galaxies. However, it does seem absurd that dark matter would always be collected in a 5:1 ratio to visible matter.

Perhaps Newton was wrong. I guess we'll find out soon enough.

The Cosmos is 99.999% plasma, and is powered by immense electrical currents.

Gravity plays very little part on a Cosmological scale.

There is precisely no evidence to support the plasma universe theory over the traditional theories. It's a cool idea and all, but there hasn't been any evidence.

Don't think I'll miss dark matter.

It always seemed more to me like a quick fix rather than a real solution.

Then he went up from there to Bethel; and as he was going up the road, some youths came from the city and mocked him, and said to him, “Go up, you baldhead! Go up, you baldhead!” So he turned around and looked at them, and pronounced a curse on them in the name of the LORD. And two female bears came out of the woods and mauled forty-two of the youths.

You've not bothered to read the Thunderbolts site, have you?

Or you jus gave it a cursory glance and dismissed it.

Plasma effects are demonstrated by electrical engineers every day in the lab, and are scaleable to Cosmic dimensions.

There is loads of evidence that the theory is far more accurate, and predictive, than the ridiculous Standard Model, which is forever getting modified as new observations confound it.

Anyway, we'll have to wait for the current generation of "astro scientists" to die off, before the theory will get into the mainstream, so it's all a bit moot at this time.
