Message Subject Sharks off the California Coast - Could it Predict an Earthquake?

Oh shoot thats right! There were a bunch of sea lions on the coast last week. Hmmmmm might be interesting.

Earthquake guy is predicting pretty high risk in the next week - I usually take his predictions with a grain of salt because he stresses the percentages are 'risk' rather than 'probability' and I still don't know the difference when calling it a prediction. Once in a while he nails a prediction but I do like looking at his charts to see heat and pressure in the earth. Here's what is on his website right now:

Risk of 3.0+ earthquake in California
A 6.4 to 6.8 earthquake is likely in California Oct 6
Hot spots; Pasadena, Long Beach, Oakland, Lone Pine, Salton Sea
A 4.0 to 5.0 earthquake is likely in California Oct 11-13

Here's a blurb from Luke that I copied and saved a few months back:

........................................................
Luke Thomas earthquake info:
"Luke Thomas... his site is www.quakeprediction.com
When I say "possible" that means a 30% risk.
When I say "expected" that means a 50% risk.
When I say "likely" that means a 70% risk.

Thanks for asking ! Luke (earthquake reports)"
