The trailer does look creepy "The precept of the Koran is, perpetual war against all who deny, that Mahomet is the prophet of God.

Trust me, people are not walking out early because they're afraid. They're walking out early because of how stupid the movie was. "scariest movie of the decade"... no, more like the most ridiculous movie of the decade. I think i was laughing through most of it. There were TWO, and only TWO scenes that probably scared me a little and they were both on the trailer. what you see in the trailer is pretty much the entire movie. I wouldn't waste my money on it if I were you.

So true what you see on this trailer is what you see for the entire movie. Many Black chicks in the audience were the loudest and were fun to hear them scream though.
i just got in from this movie and saw this post , honestly the boyfriend was pretty funny through most of it and there were a few parts that did creep me out and had me lower in my chair, and there were multiple girls that screamed out and a few guys too.
it had a more eeire feel to it than scary. i did turn all the lights on when I got inside my house though lol

Well, I don't know about that. I do know that I bought the DVD "Knowing" today and I'm getting rather anxious to watch it. I don't know exactly what I think of this at this time--
Perhaps after viewing it, I will know more about it--sometimes I think they (TPTB} are promoting fear among us all. I refuse to fear the future--at least for me and my partner. I do wish I could do something that would allow my children to escape/avoid the fear. Since they are adults now, I hesitate to give a lot of advice. I do remember how I felt about advice from elders when I was their age.

I would eat bacon and butter and buckets of cheese. Okay? I want to smoke Cuban cigars the size of Cincinnati in the nonsmoking section. I want to run through the streets naked with green Jell-O all over my body reading Playboy magazine. Why? Because I might suddenly feel the need to. Okay, pal?"

Re: The scariest movie of the decade? Paranormal Activity
i saw it the other day and its nowhere near as bad as some are saying, its actually very good.
i suppose it depends a lot on age as the younger ones have all been brought up on cgi and special effects horrors.
this film doesnt have gore, monsters or a creepy soundtrack what it does have is lots and lots of suspense and tension you never know whats going to happen next.
ive got to admit it in the bedroom scenes my heart was in my mouth waiting for what was about to happen.
its definately worth a watch but not at the cinema as all the crisps and sweet packets rustling and people talking will kill the suspense and tension.
get it on dvd and watch at home with the lights out and then come back on here and say it wasnt a good film.
i know its not on dvd yet i got it ermm elsewhere lol starts with mini and ends in nova.
