imho, the Egyptians were left with only remnants of the knowledge of their / our predecessors, and we have been left with even less knowledge than the Egyptians were left with.. but the knowledge is still around.

On the Giza Plateau, Khufu's builders oriented his pyramid almost perfectly north. The largest pyramid ever built, it incorporates about 2.3 million stone blocks, weighing an average of 2.5 to 15 tons each. It is estimated that the workers would have had to set a block every two and a half minutes.
simple calc. assuming 24/7 worker sched, the largest pyramid would take 10.9 years to complete. with 10 years prep. etc.
lets say 20 years.
12 hour days equals 30 years.
conclusion; no nephalim needed.
