ALIENS SHOOT DOWN NASA LCROSS PROBE .. PEACE They didn't shoot it down. They vaporized it before it even hit. That's why there was static before the picture went out. |

Quoting: DrPostmanYou're only disappointed because you didn't pay attention to what they said that they would do and what would happen. I saw exactly what they explained. An impact that you would need a very big telescope to even see. The folks who wanted a big explosions are desperately seeking a way to explain how things actually did work as NASA planned. Bullshit. THe people at NASA were even taken aback by the lack of a dust plume. SUre they're downplaying it in the media now saying that they aren't necessarily surprised. The fact that they are saying anything about it shows that they expected allot, and got little to nothing. Now you're telling me that with a year to plan and all of the calculations that should have been done on this they could not have calculated a decent idea of what was to happen? if that's the case then and the moon is that unpredictable, we shouldn't be dropping/shooting anything at it. Regardless of history. |

I have yet to see anything but computer animations of what was supposed to happen. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 772524Thanks in advance. Still waiting: Hum...okay then, how about just a picture of the impact? . |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 789591 Australia 10/10/2009 07:41 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Maybe the ground was as wet as a rain soaked dirt field. You would not get dust then either even here on earth. Certainly not defending those guys, but it is logical. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 704380Logical? The moon is supposed to have no atmosphere, so there wouldn't be wet ground like a rain soaked dirt field. The boiling point of water would drop way down with no atmospheric pressure. And the temperature of the surface of the moon gets way above even the boiling point of water on earth at sea level. Therefore, unless the moon has an atmosphere, there wouldn't be water. Has anybody seen any evidence of an atmosphere on the moon? |

NASA FAILED! It promised dramatic fireworks, but the mission to smash two spacecraft into the Moon at more then 5,000mph today may not have created quite the bang that scientists were hoping for. The “bombing” mission was supposed to kick up a six-mile high cloud of debris that scientists hoped would contain signs of water. But live pictures relayed back from the Moon showed no sign of an impact - even though both craft dived into a darkened crater as planned. [link to www.timesonline.co.uk] |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 789591 Australia 10/10/2009 08:26 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | There was no impact, because they flew it through the door into the hollow interior of the moon. The probe was probably actually transporting President Obama's brain back to the Alien Deathstar. Once the brain is reprogrammed for the forthcoming festivities, it will be sent back to earth and put into President Obama's head. Pretty simple to work it out when you know what to look for! |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 790626 Germany 10/10/2009 08:37 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | the creep from NANA also said: 'We know what we wanted to know, and I am not saying naything about water or ice or whatever, but we got our answers' Now when he said that it was obvious what he meant: 'We know now that the extraterrastrials will not allow us to do this and are capable, willing and motivate dto protect space against our agression!' And what that means is that the US has deliberately provoked an act of war against the etxraterrastrials and probably, having tested their defense, will now come with heavier stuff to attack them. sad sad sad |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 789439 Canada 10/10/2009 08:39 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Yeah that's bullshit. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 769898There was no bomb, they have crashed bigger things into it before. And much larger things crash into the moon on a daily basis such as meteors. How dunce are you?, FIRST of all, comets are comets, this "bomb" or 2 tone whatever it is, is from OUR WORLD, WE LAUNCHED IT, FOR AN ATTACK ON THE MOON, think about it, comets hit planets, they dont stop it because its just how it works in space retard. WE launched that lcross mission and WE are starting galactic interfierencem they DID stop it from hitting. WE ARED THE THREAT NOT THEM, WAKE UP |

Once it crashes it cannot transmit. So how long after it shoots a frame does it transmit that frame back to Earth? 5 frames at 30 frames a second is the blink of an eye. |

Quoting: DrPostmanEven if it wasn't shot down by aliens....where was the huge debris cloud that was supposed to be several miles high?? Obviously NASA doesn't know what the hell they are doing...you would think that these so called scientists would know every consequence of their actions, but apparently not...so the simple fact that they were yapping about a huge plume of dust extending miles high...and it did not happen, goes to show that they have no clue as to what they are doing any frankly that should be cause for serious concern, it only takes one unexpected consequence to cause a catastrophe. A cloud of fine particles that would only be visible with a very good telescope. Everything worked as advertised. It's too bad that you guys don't even want to understand the science that is going on with the project and how things were supposed to happen. [link to antwrp.gsfc.nasa.gov] You were supposed to be able to see it with a backyard telescope...easily. |
