5 stars OP, but just a little thumbnail sketch of what I see. When you watch a NFL or college football game or even the MLB playoffs......the stands are full, the local resturants seem to be busy as ever. I just got back from opening weekend of deer season and I can tell you one thing for certain, the hunters are still out spending money on licences and tags and everything associated with going hunting here in the western rocky mountians. The local dragstrip speedway was packed last night when I drove by.....my point is mainsteet is still spending like its never going to end.
I think its the same old titanic ballroom deal, where the band is playing and the many people are still dancing but the ship is taking on water.
Agreed.
All intentional.

Re: My Newsletter 10/11/09 *Total Economic Collapse… Tipping Point*
I have a friend who is 84. A couple of years ago I'd listen all day to her "in the old days" stories, many of them from her life in the Depression. "We had nothing" she'd say. Her scrapbook from that time on its very first page features wrappers from Wrigley gum. It was an item that had just come to this area, and it cost a nickel. It was A BIG DEAL to have a piece of gum, hence memorializing the wrapper on your scrapbook page. A couple of years ago, those stories seemed safe to tell, and we'd nod our heads slowly, saying, boy aren't we lucky America is so far away from THAT. She would say, "I never want to live like that again."
I visited her yesterday and we were talking about hard times again, but this time, we talked about what each of us was doing to get through them and hang in there. She said, "When I went through the first depression,..." I don't think she even realized she acknowledged that we are in the Second Depression.

Re: My Newsletter 10/11/09 *Total Economic Collapse… Tipping Point*
Thanks so much Scrump! I really appreciate the time you put in each week. Just have a few questions ...
1) Where do China, Russia, Israel and the Arab nations stand re. the NWO .. are they on board? I would think they would resist a one-world govt.
I really don't know.
One thing's for sure these days though...
Israel stands alone.
America has turned against Israel, and that's (part of) our Doom.
As far as the Arab nations & Chi/Russia, I think the Communists are lying in wait for America & the Arabs are lying in wait for first Israel, then America.
With Obama in the White House, however...
I think we may go first.
2) Do you believe TPTB behind Obama are more leftist/progressive types? I know that many believe there is no such thing as Dem/Rep and they are all the same, all behind the NWO .. While I can see evidence that our Presidents (Rep/Dem) are puppets of the elite, I see more evidence that Obama and his crew of czars (shadow govt) are more left-leaning .. there are not any Reps on his team .. In fact, I can only think of a handful of TRUE CONSERVATIVES in Washington right now. I really think what where seeing play out is a radical, leftist intl movement toward one-world govt ..
I think they're hard-core, 4 Real, no BS, New Age Satano-Fasci-Communist Monsters who, if they had their dreams all come true, would immediately exterminate most of humanity on this Planet & begin their Utopia.

"America has turned against Israel, and that's (part of) our Doom."
Bullshit. In what way have we "turned away" from Israel? Do they not still receive 30+ billion dollars in military aid per year, and increasing? Does Obama not have several dual-citizenship (US/Israeli) cabinet level officials? Is the israeli lobby not alive and well in Washington? Did you not listen/read Obama's speech to AIPAC?
"1) Where do China, Russia, Israel and the Arab nations stand re. the NWO .. are they on board? I would think they would resist a one-world govt."
There are elements in ALL governments that are at least sympathetic to the NWO. China, India, and most Islamic countries tend to follow their own path, but will follow a NWO agenda if it is to their advantage, politics is politics after all. Saudi Arabia mostly sides with British interests, Kuwait and occupied Iraq with the US. Russia does it's own thing, having survived the break-up of the USSR, and embracing state controlled capitalism, it will take anything that the NWO has to offer, as long as it is good for Mother Russia.

I'm going to go with the old adage of following the money. I don't think it is satanic, the NWO, I think it's about greed. The would label themselves whatever, as long as it had the highest profit margin.

I was giving him that latitude, but yeah it seems that scrump just wants to make himself look important. Maybe E-Harmony didn't work for him, so GLP looked like an easy mark.

I'm going to go back through your "newsletters" and dissect them for you. I'm not at home, so this is not my usual handle here on GLP. When I get back home in a couple days, I will let you know exactly what I think of the information posted in your op-ed pieces.
See ya then, goodnight GLP.

Wow. Thanks Scump. I've been paying attention so I've read a lot of what you just posted, but seeing it all in one place at one times is, um... soberingly terrifying. "God forbid we should ever be 20 years without such a rebellion. The people cannot be all, & always, well informed... If they remain quiet under such misconceptions it is a lethargy, the forerunner of death to the public liberty... Let them take arms... What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots & tyrants. " - Thomas Jefferson in 1787

That's their plan.
However, what will actually happen is that a huge tsunami
wave will unexpectedly capsize the whole boat and throw
everybody overboard with much loss of life and wealth.

Re: My Newsletter 10/11/09 *Total Economic Collapse… Tipping Point*
I think that we who believe in God and profess our faith in Christ knew this scenario was coming some day. If you've read the bible end to end, you know how it ends. There WILL be a one world government. It will be secular, humanistic, and anti-Christian. Nations will fail, people will starve, there will be death and despair on a global scale.
But I know how the story ends. My life doesn't end here, my earthly possessions won't go with me, but I have eternity to spend with my savior Jesus Christ. So yes, the impending collapse sucks. I fear for the safety of innocents. But I don't want to be part of a globalist new world order, and I WON'T worship the beast. As I said, I know how the book ends and we win.
So for now, I'm going to hug my kids a little tighter. I'm going to value each free day a little more while I have them. I'm going to stop worrying about material possessions and retirement accounts and 401k balances.
Finally I'm going to pray for peace and security for my family and put it all in God's hands to sort out. Peace, safety, and blessings to all.

Oh well, it was only a dream. Zec 12:3 And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.
Psa 9:17 The wicked shall be turned into hell, [and] all the nations that forget God.
STOCK UP NOW. You should have at least 6 months worth of basics for every member of your household. Stay away from crowds when trouble starts, do not forget water storage, tobacco is worth more than gold or silver, and be kind to hungry children.
