Ryanemm, in all seriousness, did you cough up any bright red blood? Were you wheezing and feeling tight in the chest? How high did your fever get? Did you have to have Oxygen?

I am asking because I work in a hospital and took care of a lady who was admitted with flu-like symptoms. They did a rapid influenza swab and it came back as type A, but final results won't be back right away. And since I won't be back to work for a few days I am worried I won't ever get to find out what her results were. I want to find out if I was exposed by taking care of her.

She had all the symptoms I listed and then some...but those were the worst ones. Oh, and she was on 10 liters of oxygen and her O2 saturation was only hanging in there around 90% (for those who don't know, healthy people who are breathing regular air without supplemental O2 can maintain an O2 saturation level above 95%)
