They do know what they are looking for and trying to achieve, and it is not anything that you will understand as 'normal' science. Think of it as a doorway.


The above is what I got told many years ago before even the first ground was broken for the CERN project.

Now after reading the 'arrest for terrorism' I am doubly sure that i will watch from as far away as I can get.
