Save your money....
As a teenager, working my first jobs, I quickly came to the conclusion that there are a lot people who are poor simply because they either didn't have the discipline or forethought to save some money.

I was always running calculations about how much money I'd have if I saved a little "here and there". I began small...$10-20 per paycheck...and just put it in a safe place in my home.

After a while that $10-20 became $50, which then became $100 as my jobs paid better....again, always placing the cash in a safe place in my home.

Yes, there were times I 'cheated', but I would just make up for it the next paycheck...work more hours, etc.. Also, it was difficult to see how this would help me at first, as it didn't seem like much to only have a few hundred dollars saved after my first year of doing this.

However, once I built up to saving $100 per paycheck, the gains came rapidly, by 21 I had about $25K in cold, hard cash in my house...not a bank, not a money market...in cash.

I'm now 37 with $435K in CASH. A far cry from the $40 a month I was saving at age 15/16.

Start saving NOW!

WOW. You really do not get it do you?

Good job. You played by the rules, but they changed.

Spend it now. Not stocks, Gold, actual things before your cash is worthless.

Look at the USD index for the last 6 months and see how much less that 400 and some odd K is worth now ...

Study inflation and hyperinflation. You have time to prepare well ... you need to be adaptable.

I have my own home in S.F., and have been on my own since 21.

Robbing banks! lol

It's completely possible for anyone to do as I have.

Now I can splurge...and do...a little, for certain things.

I've always known when to be thrifty, and have great self-discipline.

3. Have a stocked pantry.

4. Have a glock and a nice amount of ammo.

Re: Save your money....
I have done the same

I have saved all my life for times like these.

Real Estate is off 50% of it's value.

I expanded my businesses in December after the collapse.

I am now buying raw land as fast as I can find it.

Read your history, real estate always experiences huge gains after a recession, more so than any other commodity.
