The bible does not say you have to belong to a congregation-give your weekly 10% TO THAT congregation or that you have to belong to any church, specifically. But people choose to believe what is culturally important to them and their families and communities.
For a fundamentalist community to pray for you is NO different than having the Blessed Virgin pray for you. "where two or more of you gather in my name-I will be there"
So those people with no one to pray for them, have the presence of Mary to pray as well.
Protestants engage in the "ritual" of their Sunday service-the same way Catholics do. You have music when you walk in-there are programs or bulletins, someone seats you-there is a greeting, music, collection of money, breaking of bread, the sermon, the psalms and the blessing and prayers of the congregation and the pastor. It follows a format, a structure-it is a ritual. Protestants don't believe in the rites or sacraments the mark the human lifespan-although they have them. I noticed though and to clarify, Catholicism is not "like
all Religions." Roman Catholicism is the true faith.
God is soon going to help all souls realize this fact but He won't intrude on free will. We will have to say "yes" at the time of the Great Warning.

My personal relationship with God is just that a personal journey and I was not making fun of the sacraments of the mass-I was not going to "explain" about the meaning/purpose of the sacrament, specifically because I was speaking about the role of the Blessed Virgin in the lives of Roman Catholics and I was looking for real commonalities between us. Christians and Catholics are Christians first. God the Father,God the Son and the God the Holy Spirit knows what is true in very person's heart and your pontificating doesn't replace the love and the mercy of the Father.

Regarding the "prophecies" or "secrets" of fatima:
The children never said that the woman they saw, the apparition was the virgin mary. They only called her "The Lady". The Catholic Church attached that name to her.
Any prophesy regarding End Times has already been made known in the prophetic books of The Bible, Daniel and Revelation. Though I am going to see the movie, I give little creedence to The Catholic Church's endorsement, approval or claim that THEY are the only beholden and the only true keepers of End Time Prophecy. ( They have also claimed they are the only "true" Christian Church ).
And all of Revelations End Time prophecy is horrid. If the pope's face turned ash when he read it, then he's a poor student of that Bible he professes to live and serve by. Excuse my disdain for the hypocrisy of The Catholic Church who throughout the years, and since its institutionalized inception, has profaned the true Word of G-d. The Pope, by his very title, the vicar of G-d ( meaning the intercessory between G-d and man ) usurps The Diety, Life, Death and Sacrifice of Yeshua as Messiah.
Anyway, I digress ... Two Questions:
- How does anybody know for sure these Fatima Children did not see an alien being? And not "the virgin mary"
- Why was the oldest of the three, Lucia kept locked away by The Vatican, like a prisoner for most of her life?

Fatima has always intrigued me. The last prophecy/secret was said to be so "horrid" that it turned the pope's face ashen when he read it. It was supposed to be made public in the 1960s but has never been disclosed.
Then because this is GLP...what about the possibility of Sister Lucia being replaced?

I too am an ex-catholic who found solace and peace in spirituality, not religion but developing a close relationship with God. I am not bitter, I had a strong foundation that spawned a deep search. My answers were ultimately satisfied outside of the Catholic Church. No one could answer my questions even as a child while Catholic. I never understood the role of a priest who would be an intersessor for God by listening to my sins and giving me penance. That was the topper for me.

As a Catholic who is well versed in the history of Christianity and Roman Catholism, and all the fashionable debunkery investigations and theories of the non-existence of Jesus Christ, I believe in the existence and REALITY of Jesus Christ and in the REALITY of the Blessed Virgin.
Now we can debate stolen mythology and ancient beliefs about Isis and Horus, however, these debates may be like comparing the existence of neanderthals and homo-sapiens. Yes, they exist and have overlapping history and similar DNA, somewhere, and they look like there should be a common ancestor-But we know they are not the same.

Often, Fundamentalist Christians misunderstand Roman Catholism. They forget that they use the same practices as Catholics. For example, ALOT of what Christians believe ie why pentacostals are different than Bethel baptists-is because of the beliefs about deeper interpretations of scripture. So pentacostal believes in the presence of God through the ability of speaking in tongues while a Bethel Baptist is more focused on more calvinistic daily practice ie women should wear skirts only..alcohol should not be taken,no dancing or card playing (all INTERPRETATIONS of Scripture-but the core of GODS message. Leviticus isn't lived by for example-or most of the TV evangelists would be stoned to death.
The bible does not say you have to belong to a congregation-give your weekly 10% TO THAT congregation or that you have to belong to any church, specifically. But people choose to believe what is culturally important to them and their families and communities.
For a fundamentalist community to pray for you is NO different than having the Blessed Virgin pray for you. "where two or more of you gather in my name-I will be there"
So those people with no one to pray for them, have the presence of Mary to pray as well.
Protestants engage in the "ritual" of their Sunday service-the same way Catholics do. You have music when you walk in-there are programs or bulletins, someone seats you-there is a greeting, music, collection of money, breaking of bread, the sermon, the psalms and the blessing and prayers of the congregation and the pastor. It follows a format, a structure-it is a ritual. Protestants don't believe in the rites or sacraments the mark the human lifespan-although they have them. Baptism, marriage, forgiveness-healing, funeral service.
It is the politics and the hypocracy of the Catholic Church and its history , like all religions that turn me off-not the Mass, the Blessed Virgin or the reading of scripture or GOD/Jesus.

Our prayers are not the same as Mary's prayers offered to

My personal relationship with God is just that a personal journey and I was not making fun of the sacraments of the mass-I was not going to "explain" about the meaning/purpose of the sacrament, specifically because I was speaking about the role of the Blessed Virgin in the lives of Roman Catholics and I was looking for real commonalities between us. Christians and Catholics are Christians first. God the Father,God the Son and the God the Holy Spirit knows what is true in very person's heart and your pontificating doesn't replace the love and the mercy of the Father.

In the preceding verse, Revelation 11:19, John tells us that he sees the Ark of the Covenant. I scoured Jeremiah chapters 7 and 44. I could not find any reference to "queen of the heavens" in chapter 7. I did find reference to the "queen of the heavens" in chapter 44. This was a reference taking about the EGYPTIANS who worshipped idols and at the time they were worshipping female idols such as ISIS, etc. Sheesh!!! The way it reads, it was referring to the times that God punished Egypt for worshipping idols. AND this chapter is WARNING EGYPT again for worshipping idols put in front of GOD. I has NOTHING to do with the Mother of Jesus Christ. Plus, this was WRITTEN BEFORE JESUS, MARY AND JOSEPH. DUH!!!!

I too am an ex-catholic who found solace and peace in spirituality, not religion but developing a close relationship with God. I am not bitter, I had a strong foundation that spawned a deep search. My answers were ultimately satisfied outside of the Catholic Church. No one could answer my questions even as a child while Catholic. I never understood the role of a priest who would be an intersessor for God by listening to my sins and giving me penance. That was the topper for me.
I too was obsessed by Fatima and all the other apparitions, Lourdes, Medjugore. My parents visited there three times. However, I got to putting a panoramic picture together after much reading, listening, studying and researching. I dug for the golden answers then I sat back and let my inner knowing tell me what I resonated with.
My conclusions were horrifying but that is the way of this twisted world we are servants of. Before the nineteenth century we had the alien technology of creating holograms. The dark elite manifested that quite well with "miracles" and "apparitions." Do your own homework before you take my account. Ask yourself why the Fatima apparitions always were on the 13th of the month. Thirteen is a holy number for satanists. And the final miracle for these children was close to Halloween in October, the second high holy day of Satan. There's more. You just have to want to do the research. Painful but revealing.

I knew an angel appeared to prepare the children and of the Eucharistic miracle but never described in the seer's words (Sister Lucia).
