This deal is a boon to the insurance industry who crafted it.
Under the new plan, insurance companies will force uninsured people to buy plans, making them a lot of money.
On top of that, they will kill medicare for 65-70 year olds.
This new plan is not a public option. If you want that, move to Canada, or Europe, or any civilized country where people aren't left to get TB so they can infect everyone else.
Cost of procedures in US are far above the cost in other countries.
Cost of drugs in US are far higher than the rest of the world.
Are insurance companies really interested in curing disease and providing health care - or just taking your money?

This meant that the Health Insurance company was pocketing cash from my employer each month but I was still too scared to go to the doctor when I got sick because I didn't have the first 3 grand lying around.
