It's not because most 10 year olds don't have an opinion on gay rights, that every kid is the same.

As for the Pledge of Allegiance, the patriotic indoctrination program, the only other country practising this technique on kids is N-Korea, which is also a very patriotic country.

Patriotism makes people weak and leads to chronical blindness. They don't see the atrocities done by their government. Instead of condemning the murder of 3,000 of their own cities, they support a war on bogus arguments.

Patriotism, the Pledge of Allegiance, is a weapon.
